Fab!
These are great. Large, sturdy, well made. These have been well played with and thrown by my SEN child and theyre robust enough to survive. The sounds are so nice and i find myself playing with them.

Great sensory toy
My son will absolutely love these. Haven’t opened as they are a Christmas gift. But first impressions are great.

Great for children with sensory needs
I am autistic myself and I absolutely loved these my favourite was the storm one. These are brilliant for anyone who visually or auditory stims. It is a great resource for SEN learners in science to help them to make the link between the weather condition and the sound that they make. It has so many different functions not only for supporting learning but also for them to get the sensory input that they need to regulate and to stay within their window of tolerance. It is great for cause and effect play as you can link the cause of turning it over to the effect of the noise it makes and it is great for their co-ordination of lifting the tube up and down. These are great for any child who plays rough as these are made really well and are really good quality so will last a long time and there are no small parts (other than the balls inside but they can only be accessed if the tube is broken open). It is great for many things and I found it to be super engaging

Lovely sensory toy
The media could not be loaded. ⛈️A set of three sensory tubes based on the weather⛈️From Learning Resources a great educational brand. I've used lots of their products over the years as an erstwhile early years and primary teacher. They are always of great quality and rigorous in play⛈️You get three tubes - one for drizzle, shower and storm - we love the storm with the tinkering sound in the middle⛈️These would be lovely in music play, topics around weather but for me are perfect as an all round sensory resource that can help children regulate⛈️The design means that they stand on their ends but you can also lay flat and they don't roll⛈️The design on the end means that they are easy for little hands to grasp and move around

Great for Calming Play and Exploring Sounds
I picked up these sensory tubes for my little one as I wanted something calming yet engaging for quiet playtime. My 3-year-old has quite a bit of energy, and I thought these might help create more peaceful moments while still keeping him entertained. Plus, I liked the idea of introducing him to different sounds in a hands-on way.The set comes with three tubes, each designed to mimic different natural sounds: rain, snow, and thunderstorms. My son was immediately drawn to the rain one, as the soft trickling sound is soothing, and it's fun for him to turn the tube over and watch the beads slowly fall. It’s almost like having a mini rainstorm in his hands. The snow tube is quite subtle in comparison, with a quiet and gentle motion that I find works well if we’re trying to wind down before bed. However, the thunderstorm tube surprised me. It’s a bit louder and definitely grabs attention, but it’s not jarring. It does a good job of mimicking a storm without being too overwhelming for young children. The design is sturdy and safe for little hands, which is always a plus. The tubes are clear, so kids can actually see what’s inside and how the movement creates different sounds. My son loves watching the little beads move and figuring out how tilting or shaking the tube changes the sound. If I had to mention one thing that could be improved, it would be the weight of the tubes. They’re a little heavier than I expected, especially for a 3-year-old to hold comfortably for long periods. It’s not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re looking for something they can carry around the house easily.Overall, these sensory tubes have become a go-to for quiet play and moments when we need to settle down. They also make for a great way to introduce younger kids to different sensory experiences. I’m definitely happy with this purchase, especially for those calming moments we all need now and then!
