Put the batteries in and powered it up and was pleasantly surprised. Got it charging on a USBC cable I already have ready for my phone. I was happy it was a C cable. It comes with an extra small one too along with a phono to phono jack wire to hookup anything. Using bluetooth first. Connected flawlessly and the functions work great from the remote as well. The radio pulls in stations just fine. I wish it had AM for the ball game but I have a small radio for that I can use if needed which wouldn'tbe often anyway. Everything else, the cd, and the cassette work just fine and I will use them as I still have both these in my collection. I will use this for sitting outside in the morning listening to music and drinking my coffee. The sound and size is perfect for this. It does alot for the size that it is. And the sound is just fine. Anyone that expects a boombox sound is just being silly and juvenile. That's not what this is for. The sound is crisp and clear and even has some bass. This unit does not sound bad. It does the job. Especially for the reason I bought it. Very satisfied and would highly recommend it.

You gotta try this portable stereo. At first I was skeptical I’ll admit, but after receiving this a day ago I put it to the test and was very impressed! My favorite radio station that usually comes in weak on my other radio(s) I have been using, NOW comes in strong with this one. And the BLUETOOTH function work’s excellent. EVERYTHING I have BT connects! From headphones, earphones, speakers etc some quite new and older BT devices. That makes me very happy. The diversity of this unit is just awesome. Even my older IPod Nano 5th Gen that is loaded with tunes, all my CD’s, TF-cards I have, USB drives I have, and cassettes I have can now all be enjoyed on this ONE great unit. And the sound that comes from it is fresh crisp and clear , especially when you choose your favorable EQ setting that is at your fingertips. The portability and freedom of having its own on-board battery is a game changer too, at least for me. Im at the pool, at the pole-barn, around the house, or out in the back 40 , I’m lovin it. For being able to travel and listen to what you like in practically any format you choose to use, this is going to be my main go-to device I grab. It’s kinda nice to be excited about something these days and for me this is it. It reminds me of how excited I was when I got my first iPod!And the remote is the cherry on top. I now will embark on a mission to revisit my music and audio-book collections in a treehouse if I so desire, or ANYWHERE for that matter. Music and stories can touch your mind, people, and whoever else is within listening range and this portable unit can make that happen. I’m very pleased with owning this portable boom box.I feel like I went “Back to the Future “ literally.AND after the battery was FULLY charged, first thing you want to do when you first get it, I turned it on and the very first song I heard that had just started playing was:The theme to “Miami Vice”. to me that was so cool! My son loves this new radio! Got it for his birthday. Love the fact that it’s rechargeable and that he can haul it anywhere. We love to take it camping.

Over all amazing! Love how light it is and how Easy it is to Cary around. The only downfall is that the recorded cassette has a lot of static, but that is my favorite part is that it has a cassette player. The batter life last a lot longer than it is supposed to, it last up to 24 hours for me. I also noticed that the cd player does not skip when carried around.

I set up an entertainment center. I didn't like the idea of not being able to play older formats or listen to the radio, so I got this compact little guy (even with the tray open), and used the headphone out to connect it to the receiver, and now can play old CDs or cassettes when I feel like it. I don't do that enough to justify purchasing nicer components for those formats, but I didn't want to be cut off from them entirely and this. I don't love how the mode button works UI wise, but whatever, the price and size of the unit were right.The built in speakers sound like crap, but look at it, what did you expect?

Garbage product. I've had to rerun this POS twice now as the tae deck is pretty much useless. The sound only comes out of one speaker and comes what a lovely high pitched screeeeech noise. Delightful. Save your money...seriously.
