Great for my gums
This Special Supplies oral brush is the perfect tool to massage and stimulate my gums. I'm actually hoping it will help me lose weight by keeping my mouth occupied with chewing on it, instead of reaching for the snacks. So far, it’s holding up remarkably well. And I like how it feels on my gums.I'm glad I ordered this oral brush and I recommend it.

Durable
When I first felt the brush after opening it, I wasn't sure it would hold up to intense chewing - it proved me so, so wrong lol. It's been through the kind of high-pressure chewing you'd think only a dog could do, and there isn't so much as a dent in the brush. I was expecting it to at least be torn after a week of consistent use, but it just keeps bouncing right back!

Great sensory oral motor tool
I have multiple students who need vibration input to the mouth but can't tolerate actual vibrations. This is a great alternate when rubbed between teeth, but also just in the mouth at all. The size of a toothbrush & very easy to use. Still need to see how long it lasts, but the variety of color options are nice!

Great for pencil chewers
My daughter is constantly ruining the eraser side of her pencils b/c she always has to have one in her mouth. I've tried the silicone chew necklaces, but she doesn't really like those and says they are less "practical" - my words not hers. She just won't utilize those shapes as easily. The pencil/pen shape of this oral stimulator is perfect for her, as it simulates a writing utensil. She is nine, so she was able to give me her feedback on this as well - She said that the top, chew part should be a little longer, but overall, the top is soft enough, and she likes how it feels on her gums, too.

Love It
Let me start by saying this is the first sensory tool/toy that we have tried for a child with an oral preoccupation. We loved and they loved it. I was a bit concerned that the child would bite through it or rip the silicone head off, but that has not happened yet. I took the picture in this review after about 5hrs of hard chewing. The brush component is still totally in tact, and there are a few visible scratches around the base of the brush. Our child has been asking for the "bite brush" and seems excited to use it. My only wish is that there were a hole drilled at the base so that we could thread it onto a necklace. Our child will drop the brush when they want to get back to another activity, and I think having the ability to attach it to their person in some way would be helpful. We may try to DIY that solution if it becomes more of a problem for us. Overall, I am happy to have another tool in our tool belt and will be ordering these brushes in every color. Would recommend!

Helps my daughter's gums due to low tone
My youngest has low tone, which affected how she chewed when she was learning to eat solids. Lately, we are noticing that we need to help her exercise her jaw muscles again as she gets a little tired after chewing certain foods (like steak). One of the things suggested in therapy was to make sure we get her to chew on the sides of her mouth vs the front, and massage that area with something like a vibrating toothbrush. This mouth brush tool is helpful for getting her to chew on her sides as she bites down on it. We have to guide her though but then she gets the hang of it. She's also teething so it helps with that too. She is nearly 2 but were she younger, I would suggest not leaving a child unattended as there is no stopper and they can push this too far back in their throats. But overall, this is a great tool to have if your little one struggles with chewing due to desensitization from having low tone.

Effective for gum massage
I ordered this Sensory Mouth Brush to massage my gums. I learned, however, that this brush is designed primarily for children and adults who require therapeutic oral stimulation for a variety of reasons. It can certainly be used for gum massage and I do like it for that purpose. The silicone nubs are just firm enough but not so hard that they feel painful or damaging to my gums. Happy to find this brush even though I misunderstood its main purpose. This is my own fault for not reading the details before ordering.
