I bought the Encasa Homes Metallised Ironing Board Cover (Silver Super Luxury) in February and took my time before writing this review so I could test it properly.It’s been a great upgrade — the multi-layer padding provides a smooth surface, and the heat-reflective coating really helps speed up ironing. The fit is quite good (not perfect, but secure) thanks to the elastic edges and Velcro straps.Most importantly, there’s no colour transfer onto clothes, which was a problem with my old cover. It feels durable and well-made, and installation was simple. Overall, it delivers exactly what it promises — very happy with it.

All in all, this is a very good quality ironing cover - possibly one of the best I have bought, over the years.The Velcro tabs underneath, which meet in the middle of your board, make fitting a piece of cake and allows you to shape it to your board with ease.The material is good quality and even has finishing touches like the brand label attached to the cover with good quality stitching (ok, I appreciate that that has nothing to do with the cover’s performance but it shows care has been taken in the manufacture of the product. It reminds me of some of the products my grandparents bought, when quality was better in those days and when British manufacturers displayed their labels with pride).It is fairly well padded, although I have put mine on top of my old cover to make it more padded, which I find is helpful to ease garments round the board and smooth out creases in the corners and press the more intricate parts of items.The reflective material helps to iron the underside of your clothes which reduces ironing time and, unlike some of the other reviews, which mention that silvery flecks of the cover material has been found on their clothes, I have to state that this has not been my experience. I wear a range of smart black clothing, of different fabrics, for work and I have noticed no sliver speckles on any of these items or, indeed, any of my ironing.Buy with confidence. Happy Ironing!

Seems very tough and fits the board well. It arrived in a roll which made it very crumpled so I am hoping that the creases will disappear once I start ironing. I haven't yet done so.

This fits my ironing board perfectly.. The cover is well padded and good quality. & the elasticated & pull tight toggle makes fitting so easy.. plenty overlap on the Velcro under board straps to secure .. which did not interfere with the folding away of the ironing board. A wee bit more expensive that other branded pull cord covers.. but well worth it. 😁

It arrived today and I've fitted it to my ironing board & started my ironing, It's thick and it speeded up my ironing for definite. It fits and has 3 sets of velcro straps under neath for putting it firmly in place then tighten the toggle. Really good quality and the fit for my board is great too.. It's the best one by far out of any I've purchased in the past. Everything you iron glides on it. If you're iron is an upto date Steam iron you should never have a problem. I'm definitely buying a second one for to have in the cupboard so I don't need to search again.Excellent value for money.

This cover is good quality. I was concerned it was too small at first, I ordered the large size for a 120cm x 38cm board. It was a struggle to get it on, but once I'd removed the toggle (allowing the elastic to fully stretch) it was a perfect fit and the velcro straps hold it snug. FYI, it only fits one way, with the label at the wide end of the board. Once ironed it is a great cover. 👍

Wife complained existing cover didn’t allow clothes to be repositioned vey easily, and the cover was a non slip type. This is much better, clothes slide easier, and make ironing a pain. Good value, performs well. Nice and thick. Fitting was fun, as it was a tight stretch, but the velcro allows it to be pulled nice and flat. Best bit of advice, run the iron over the cover a few times, makes it flatten quicker. Let’s hope the Mrs finds it better with us.

Excellent ironing board cover. Snug fit, but as mentioned by someone else one pair of straps are in the wrong place making closing the board difficult. In the end one of the straps came away. I don’t think this will affect the ironing board too much as it is kept in place securely with elastic but only time will tell.
