Helped me get over the road block I hit in not having the Google-required "quick switch adapter" when I wanted to transfer data from an old Android phone with a USB type A micro connector to a new phone with USB C connector. Data transfer time was not a consideration for me, so cannot comment on that, nor about durability.

Pretty good adaptor. Works weel with USB drives. Fits tight in the phone. Not sure how this affects the data transfer speed but it's pretty good and compact

Works well but is slow , overall budget friendly

It's all wrong information. It cranks down the speed to USB 2.0. Totally misleading. Working exactly as it should. I got speeds of USB 3.1 gen 1 (10 gigabit per second) as you can see in the photo, i have connected my ssd with it and i am getting a write speed of 1014 MBPS.No overheating of the deviceIt is small and also works on my android phone10/10 recommended
