I held off reviewing this machine for a few weeks until I'd given it good testing. After about 3 weeks of use, I'm really impressed. It was very easy to set up and seems really sturdy. It came with all the bits and pieces you need plus cleaning tools and replacement seals. The instructions were really simple to follow too.I've found the separate coffee bean grinder to work really well as does the built-in milk steamer. I was a little dubious when I purchased it due to the lower price but I'm absolutely thrilled with this great little machine! I can now drink perfect espressos, cappuccinos, and coffee shop-style drinks for a fraction of the price.

Absolutely love this! I don't like the 'pod' coffee machine because pods are expensive and bad for the environment, so I opted for this one. So far I can say it is excellent value for money! I work with the industrial type coffee machines, so obviously this feels different; lighter, and clearly cheaper, but that is to be expected, of course. Nevertheless, it does exactly what it's meant to, and makes a great coffee; very close to actual barista coffee. It's very easy to use, so even if you've never used this type of machine, it's super easy to get the hang of. Grinder is also perfect, and it comes with everything you need. My only (mild) criticisms are that a) it's a little more noisy than I expected when you're using it, and vibrates quite loudly and b) the cups that come with it are very tiny, maybe it's just my eyesight, but i was expecting something closer to mugs; they're just espresso cups. Overall, I would highly recommend this if you're looking to invest in a little machine, but don't want to splash out too much!

This does what i expected. I found this machine very straightforward to use. The 15 bar pressure creates a good expresso with creama which doesn’t just disperse. The milk steamer worked well but took off the plastic nozzle as I could not judge the depth. Makes a nice glossy foam. All in all makes a good coffee.The build of the machine is a bit poor but to be honest for £119 I am not sure I can complain.Was going to get a more expensive machine and glad I didn’t now.

I was sceptical at first, but from reading the reviews, I thought I’d give it a go! I’m impressed.This machine is bloody awesome for the price. It’s quick, gives superb crema and delivers in all aspects. I’d read some reviews that said it leaked … it DOESN'T LEAK IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! After each function, just let it get on with its pressure release; empty the drip tray when it’s done that and there will be no leak. I tried the grinder for the first time this morning and it’s ground my espresso beans perfectly in 30 seconds. I’m super impressed and if you like a great Flat White, you’ll get it. I paid £600 for my last machine and this one is almost as good + you get a grinder too.

The media could not be loaded. Having suffered at the hands of two DeLongi espresso machines I decided to invest more money into what was described as a “professional” machine and seeing this Espresso Works was offered at nearly £100 below its general retail price I opted to purchase it.Big mistake. I was initially impressed, it looked good, was quiet and frothed milk to make a silky smooth cappuccino. It came with 2 espresso cups and a coffee grinder.The coffee grinder gave up working after 2 weeks - although I wasn’t that worried. However, after 5 weeks it started leaking from the coffee holder and base unit. I ensured everything was clean in case of coffee grinds, but no, it still leaked. An extra wide cup had to be used to collect the coffee and the extra water spewing over the side thus watering down the coffee. I contacted the seller who said it needed a new silicon seal (after 5 weeks?). None were in stock and I have no idea if it’s a part an owner can replace - certainly doesn’t look like it. But before the part could be sent the machine started to turn off when set to froth milk. So now no cappuccino. A day later the machine started to constantly pump water from every orifice despite it being set in the “off” position. The only way to stop was to turn off at the mains. Then you spend ages clearing up the water that’s gone everywhere.I’ve unplugged it and it’s on it’s way back to Amazon - and no, I didn’t want a replacement, just my money back. So I’m looking at more expensive products from Sage.In short, don’t waste your time and money.

We’ve been using pods for a long time. I’ve wanted to stop for a while as they are so bad for the environment but I didn’t want to be always cleaning a complicated machine, so when this came along it looked like the perfect compromise- Barista quality coffee but easy to use and maintain.It’s a very nice kit indeed. I hadn’t heard of espresspworks, but Amazon opens you up to some great brands that aren’t on the high street so I gave them a go and it’s fantastic. It looks great, is clearly a very high spec build and even the accessories are high quality such as the espresso cups. The kit really does have everything, unlike some that sell you the machine and then try and flog you all the extras for more money. This truly is all in one.I highly recommend this kit and the smells coming from the freshly grounded beans in my own kitchen make it an investment. Thanks Espressoworks!

The coffee grinder did not work either with beans or without beans .The actual coffee machine works fine .Contacted the seller who have said they will replace the grinder, awaiting delivery.

Beautiful coffee machine and looks amazing in my kitchen. So easy to use and to set up and makes my kitchen smell like a coffee shop. Would recommend 👌
