Platinum Patch 16oz

I love this stuff. It goes on easily and dries quickly. I have had success using it as a skim coat to kill the grain on wooden doors and also as a filler for larger holes and cracks. Once it dries, it's hard and water resistant. This is important because after the skim coat is dry, I want to give it a fine sand and use a damp cloth to remove the dust. Some patch compounds are water soluble, which makes the damp cloth a bit of a problem. I have not experienced shrinkage. However, for nail holes and cracks, I wait about five or ten minutes after I apply it and sand it smooth. If I wait too long, it gets much harder and is more difficult to sand.

Used this product to fill a divot in a concrete garage floor and in the base of an exterior fiberglass column. Worked well in both applications.

This stuff Is great and drys rock hard. So many ways to use it. Just make sure you place the lid on it tightly.

I had two small holes about the size of a quarter in my white vinyl siding. Rather than replace the siding I tried this and it worked better than I expected. I used some window spray foam in the hole as a backer then applied the DAP filler in the holes. Allowed to dry overnight and sanded with 180 grit paper. The filler was not as white as my siding so I sprayed a little white paint over the repaired area. Worked and looked great!!

Great product！just make sure to press down on plastic top after you use till it fully seals or it will dry out.
