Poor quality
It looks cheap and it's flimsy. I would never put my vinyls in it.

Functional but missing screws
Had to spend $15 for screws that were missing

Some assembly required
Great rack for your turn table and vinyl collection. Beware this thing comes in about eighty pieces. Once you get your IKEA on though, it comes together into a nice piece of furniture. The canvas sling shelves are a great touch and give it a fun feel. It is very sturdy once assembled which was a concern I had. All in all, it's a great piece.

Disappointing -- vinyl pockets are awkward and cover half the album artwork
Assembling this record player stand was fairly straightforward. I got it because I liked the idea of vinyl storage with display racks above to feature some of the beautiful artwork on so many albums. It's metal piping with a veneered particle board shelf and odd fabric hammock-like shelves above it for display. The metal racks underneath the shelf for vinyl storage are fine. The shelf itself is fine too -- even though it's made up of three pieces of particle board and the screws don't align properly so mine has a gap between two of the boards. Where this rack just misses the mark are these weird hammocks for displaying the vinyl. First, they cover almost half of the artwork on the bottom portion, and second, they just look weird. I actually installed the bottom two hammocks incorrectly. You're supposed to have the black side of the fabric facing in and the raw side out. I did it correctly for the top shelf, but it actually looks wrong. It looks like I installed the top one in correctly and the two bottom shelves are right. But it doesn't even matter because I just don't like the rack anyway. Instead of being a storage item with some nice display, it feels more like a big waste of space. This one is a definite miss.

For the Vinyl Record Aficionado -
.Quality shaped box metal frame. That adds a lot of stability as well as value. The finish is clean and without blemish. The "wood" shelves are a particle type apparently but of a nice quality and look. I have a wild thought to replace the supplied shelves with some exotic wood. The metal frame is definitely nice enough for that future effort. It certainly allows for display of many album covers to show the cover art. Rearrange on occasion.Overall success ! This record display offers good value to me beyond the nice quality.
