The Wild Robot - Collector's Edition Blu-ray + Digital

I usually do not write reviews about movie, DVDs, or music. However, I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised with this movie. I went into it, not knowing how to expect. However, I quickly got sucked into the story. The acting is superb, the animation is also fantastic. And the story is original and interesting enough that it made the movie pass very quickly. I am not a movie critic, but all I can say is that I enjoyed the story, the acting, and the soundtrack.

Filled with heart, great characters, and gorgeous animation, this was arguably the best animated film of 2024. Satisfying for the whole family, this movie will warm your soul...but you may want to have some tissues for those tears handy as well. Can't recommend this film enough.

I already knew I was going to fall in love with this story when I saw the pictures. The artwork of this movie absolutely floored me. The colors, depth of field, and new ways of processing the overall world just add to the joy that is this film. I think it's PG because it murders your heart over and over and just when you think you can't get emotional any more, you're on the floor reaching for another tissue. I would have no qualms about any of the kids in my life watching this film. Such a true film that shows what can be done with hard work and working toward a goal, I relished in the meanings that the film pulled out of the story. Its rare to get a good life lesson out of a film these days with all the easily consumed and quickly discarded media, this one is like a good sticky warm thick oatmeal in that it coats you and leaves you full and feeling like you've accomplished a lot in such a short time. A great teachable moment that the kids in all of us need in times like these when the stuff in life seems so plastic. What a happy little gem this story has turned out to be and I will be honored to own it for as long as I can. This will sit easily in my collection of masterpieces by another guy famous for drawing rodents. To those who made this film: Thank you... you moved me, man... you. moved. me......

The number of times I cried during this movie, even after watching many times makes me love how emotionally powerful this movie is. I loved the animation style, humor, story, and the MUSIC....so beautiful. It's a great watch with family and friends of all ages. Would love to see this movie get recognized over time as one of the more heartfelt animated movies so it can be beloved for years to come.

The Wild robot was a captivating movie for everyone in our household from ages 3-30. It was a beautiful, poignant look at motherhood, childhood, and growing up. The score is breathtaking and the animation is lovely. It was the best movie I’ve seen in years. I was very happy with the lack of innuendos and hints at adult themes, the lack of dirty humor and the focus on familial love rather than glorifying romance. It was very deep and nuanced. We have watched it at least 10 times. For a robot obsessed toddler, and two tired parents, this movie is beautiful and stirring.

The Wild Robot is a beautiful, heartwarming, visually stunning film — truly a great watch for kids and adults alike. The first time we watched it, I was all in. The fifth time? Still charmed. But now that we’ve watched it 372 times, I’m starting to emotionally bond with the toaster and speak in monotone.My kid loves it so much, I’m convinced we’re raising the next generation of robot whisperers. Meanwhile, I’ve developed the eerie ability to recite the entire script from memory, complete with sound effects.That said, the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray + Digital combo is great — high quality, smooth playback, and perfect if your little one (or robot-loving adult) wants to watch it again... and again... and again.Highly recommend. Just maybe hide the remote after the 100th viewing for your own sanity. 🦾

Great movie. The kids and the wife love it. It takes an interesting turn that we didn’t see coming. It’s encouraged my 10 year old to read the book. Arrived undamaged.

The Wild Robot is the best animated film I've seen in a while. It is visually beautiful and the story is an important allegory stressing the necessity of living in harmony with all of nature.
