High quality notebook. Comes with lots of nice, thick pages, clear lines and a nice table of contents area if you like to organize your notes that way. Each page has a space for a date and page number of you want to add those. Pages are easy to write on smoothly and are thick enough that you don't get pen dents unless you are super heavy-handed. No bleed-throigh with gel or ink in my experience. Nice color selection, too. Price was a great value for the number of pages and the size options are great, too.

TL;DR: These notebooks seem like good quality and I will almost certainly buy them again in the future. They are a good size without being overly heavy/cumbersome, the colors are cute while also offering neutral tones that will work well for more "professional" settings. I think the addition of the table of contents in the front is a great feature that I haven't seen in other similar notebooks and could be really helpful for someone who needs to organize school or work notes. I also really appreciate that it is spiral-bound as that is my personal preference and the hard cover with the elastic band makes me feel confident that the inner pages won't get torn up if I tossed it in my purse or backpack. Mine did arrive with some small dents on the cover, but that seems like it was more likely an issue with how they were packed for shipping and doesn't reflect the quality of the notebook itself. I just wish they were available in more colors/patterns as I will definitely buy more in the future.

I love the design and thickness of the pages. There’s a place for page numbers if you want to separate classes or hobbies. Pages are very think and I love the elastic band to keep it closed. Only downside are the rings on the side. As soon as I open my package, the top ring was bent. I can bend it back but I still see it as a quality issue. And if you’re not careful, the top and bottom rings rip the pages. But with those tiny inconveniences, best notebook I’ve had by far

I bought 4 of these Taja notebooks for journaling, two in green and two in purple. The price is amazing, (30+ years of journaling talking), and I love the colors, which are true to the pictures. The size of the book, at 7.1"x10", gives me more writing space than smaller journals that are more expensive. One of the selling points for me was the paper thickness and the mention of less bleed through, because I prefer to write on both sides of the paper. Plus, I'm a huge fan of writing with Sharpie fine point pens. Regarding construction...these notebooks are very nice. The covers are thick and sturdy, and the spiral binding adds to my confidence that they are well made. Anyone who journals as much as I do knows how important it is that the notebook be able to hold up to moderate abuse. So far, my experience is that these Taja notebooks will do exactly that, which makes me a very happy customer. I write several times a day, I go through a lot of journals, and I know a great journaling notebook when I find it, and these Taja notebooks are fantastic. I'll definitely be stocking up. Highly recommend.

I miscalculated how large the ring binding is. To get around having to write with my hand pressed down on the rings, I simply flip the notebook upside down when I have to write on the left side. And, as you can fully open the notebook 360º, it’s easy to do. This notebook is for my Bible study, so it doesn’t matter that every other page is written upside down. Also, the covers are solid and very pretty, and the paper is a good quality.
