Comotomo vs. Breastfow vs. MAM vs. Lansinoh vs. Munchkin Latch vs. Adiri
Okay so yes within the past few weeks we purchased all of these to try with our two-month-old breastfed baby. Short version: every baby is different and Lansinoh won for ours. But here's some additional comparison points on all of these to help others decide and maybe avoid buying so many :)Background: our baby is now 2-months old, but we started trying bottles around 6 weeks. I stay home, so the goal for us is just occasional bottle feeding so I can have a little time away.Munchkin Latch: this is the bottle system we used with our now 2-year-old and he adapted to it well from around 6-weeks old. It's easy to clean, interchangeable with sippy cup parts, and has an adapter for direct pumping. Problem is our new baby just cried whenever we tried putting this bottle in his mouth, so we started looking at other bottles...Comotomo: super easy to clean with just your hands, looks awesome, feels nice and soft. Our baby was able to latch on to the large nipple surface, however, the nipple itself is very long and he seemed to be struggling with this. He drank from it the first time we tried, but wasn't HAPPY and was squirming and joking a bit. The nipple is also very slippery, unlike some of the others with a matte finish, and the super wide bottle makes it difficult to fit most bottle warmers (didn't fit our boon orb or Intel-a-temp). Lastly, no breast pump attachments.MAM: this nipple looks completely different from comotomo so I thought it'd be worth a try. Our baby wouldn't even drink from this one unfortunately- he just cried and made a face like "what's this foreign object in my mouth" :( Also, I didn't like the complexity of the bottle - there's a bottom cap, a bottom rubbery insert valve, and then the nipple, nipple ring and cap. And the bottle just looks unattractive in my opinion compared to competitors - not that it would've mattered if he liked this one :)Breastflow: our baby drank an entire 3oz the first time we used this, WITH a smile, and fell asleep after. I thought this would be the one! But the next two days he refused in and just chewed on the stiff inner nipple. The outer nipple on this one is very thin and fully collapsed when he drank from it. And milk gets stuck between the two nipple prices and you have to squeeze it just right to get it to go back down into the bottle where your baby can drink it or you can save it. (A feature that's a little complicated to show a baby sitter, etc) Honestly the double nipple seems to be a waste because it only slows the flow for your baby's FIRST suck - after that, milk goes into the outer nipple and comes out just as easily as any other bottle. The idea is to simulate the natural let-down of breast milk, but it only added a 1 second delay.Adiri: so we never got to use this one because our baby loved Lansinoh. But I did provide a picture of the nipple and wanted to mention that the nipple had a wonderful soft, matte finish that seems would be easier for baby to latch too. It also looks the coolest of all the bottles. Downside it had a lot of parts to keep track of and clean.Lansinoh **THE WINNER**: our baby instantly latched with this bottle and it just felt "right". He's drank from this easily with mom, when sleepy and fussy, with dad, etc - some of our key test times, and it past. The bottle design is wonderfully simple and the nipple has a very nice feel - it's very thick, but soft and partially matte finished. I love that I can direct pump with the very affordable Lansinoh manual pump (comes with a free bottle too), and the design is super simple and easy to clean. The air vent for this one is in the nipple, just like Comotomo, which is great because there's no worries about leaks from a bottom plug, etc. But my ONLY complaint is 1) the air valve can sometimes make a loud noise which I worry will startle the baby (so far he hasn't seems to notice it) and 2) it only comes in purple.

Happy baby!
I tried every bottle imaginable for my breastfed baby when it was time for me to go back to work. She refused every one except this one! The nipple is short and easy for her to latch on to. Other bottles had longer nipples and she would gag and refuse to latch. We’ve used these bottles for 5 months now. She only uses them at daycare during the week and I’ve never had a problem with her taking them....lots of relief that we found something she will take! There was a little bit of a learning curve to use these without leaks. I finally figured it out: screw bottom on super tight and never use without warming disk. Since I made those adjustments we haven’t had one leak. The newborn nipple had somewhat of a fast flow. We haven’t had to change to a faster flow since we started using them. My baby is 7 months old and the flow is still good for her .There are 5 parts to wash (a lot if you ask me) and they are on the pricey side, but definitely worth my time and every penny knowing my baby will eat!

Best bottle
A great bottle that i bought for my unborn baby, but soley breastfed daughter of about 1 and a half got a hold of it and loved it. She wouldnt take any bottles to nap or sleep until this. For a toddler with teeth it lasted quite a while, and provided mommy a MUCH needed break from nursing until new baby gets here. The cap on the bottom is meant to stay on until the baby is using it. If the cap is not taken off it is hard to get milk out of the nipple. If the liquid is too hot the bottle will leak. ..yeah, i did try to put hot chocolate in it...dont ask me why.Very easy to clean, washed every day. Even put into the dishwasher. The plastic of the nipple turned a little brown over time, but i poured everything from hot chocolate to grape juice in it and i never boiled it.We have a lower income family and sven though i could get 20 cheep bottles at the dollar tree for the same price this one was worth the expense. That is saying alot for a woman that buys all of her clothes and cookware from a thrift store. I have recomended it and would again.

These are very nice, especially if your baby gags
My baby wouldn't take a paci because it made her gag and we ran into the same issue with bottles. This was the only brand out of maybe 8 that we tried that didn't gag her because the nipples are short(most realistic in length compared to what other brands say) she kind of liked them....not the bottles fault she just wasn't having anything unless it was her mama! They are cute and seem to be well made-not a lot of annoying small parts pretty easy. What I don't like is that they say not to use those handy microwavable bags to clean them in, dishwasher safe yes but not everyone has that option. We ended up moving to a training cup for our little picky princess, the born free transitional ones, forgot to mention this was for a baby at 10wks old now 6 months.

Exclusively Breast Fed Baby
This is the only bottle my exclusively breast fed daughter will take! We got the Tommee Tippee bottles because they were supposed to be more breast like but this bottle is awesome! The nipple has a nice slow flow just like your breast does. It is a little pricy for just one bottle but I will definitely be purchasing more!

Great nipple! After every bottle from Walmart & babies- ...
Great nipple! After every bottle from Walmart & babies- r-us was slapped & screamed away, my 5 month EBF baby took to this bottle immediately. We purchased the "Comotomo" simultaneously as other reviewers recommended, but our baby prefers the adiri. The nipple is shorter and more realistic compared to most bottles and is more rounded than cylinder, truer to a nipple shape than a miniature can... We've had it a month now and am ordering a newborn nipple for our 6 month old. She is an aggressive nurser and is able to take more more milk than she can swallow so dribbles out the excess and wets her dresses. This bottle DOES NOT LEAK IF YOU USE COMMON SENSE AND USE IT AS THE MANUFACTURER RECCOMENDS! also, if you have a greedy baby, you may opt for a slower nipple! Good luck

Baby friendly but not mummy friendly
The material of the bottle is good but not the teat. It tore itself after 5 times of use.I am unable to order another one as it took long to arrive and won't be suitable for the age of my baby. Also bottle leaks a lot.

... a lot of research on bottles and sometimes the best research is just trying them all
I did a lot of research on bottles and sometimes the best research is just trying them all, and so I did. I fell into a period where I breast fed my son more and he started refusing this bottle altogether. This was the one bottle he would drink out of if he wasn’t feeding from mommy. Try it if your little one what’s something more natural

Great bottle, didn't last long.
This is the only bottle my little guy would take. After he hit about 3 months, he refused every bottle we tried. After months of frustration we decided to purchase this bottle. And it worked! It's the closest bottle to breastfeeding. My only issue is that it didn't last long before the bottom cracked. The heating disc doesn't seem to work as well as it should. We heat the milk in a different bottle now and transfer it to this one to feed him. We did purchase another adiri bottle and its held up so far.
