We were curious enough from the advertising that we tested this and another unit in several orientations and locations. The verdict in all situations was to stick with established brands that you know. We suspected the marketing was too exaggerated to be true and it was. This 'antenna' is no better than the rabbit ears sitting on top of TVs in the 60's. You might as well buy a roll of aluminum foil and make one yourself, it will probably work better. This was just a gimmick to trap unsuspecting buyers. Not worth a single star. You've been warned.

Picked up 29 stations and it's not next to a window.

I live very close to a major city, about 20 miles line-of-site to Cincinnati. This antenna could barely pick up any channels. I actually got better reception from a $4 Chinese brand.It should be a dead giveaway when they advertise “1100 mile reception”, as that is impossible with even a 100 foot tower. That embellished advertising is always a clue that the product is going to be super cheap.

This is the best I’ve bought. The picture looks great, and I get all the channels that I needed and wanted. I have tried at least four others that did not give me reception, but this one is great for the price.
