Cute and functional
Whilst it may seem like a silly problem to have, I just never know how much pasta is an adequate amount when I am making dishes. When I eye ball the amounts it always just seems that I get too much or just too little and despite it being a minor inconvenience, it can at times be frustrating.Well, with this pasta measuring tool, I can finally take out the guess work from my portioning! This little tool comes in a cute mushroom shape and helps you cook the exact right amount of pasta, whether its just for you or for multiple people. The tool is made from what feels like fairly durable plastic and I suspect should last quite a while. At the time of writing this little tool is £7, which seems like it could be a little steep for what is essentially a piece of plastic, however given the workmanship and design I must argue that the price is actually more than adequate.Overall, I think this is a useful piece of kit for your kitchen or could serve as a great gift to a pasta loving friend. Would recommend!

Takes the guesswork out of portion sizes
When cooking spaghetti I always seem to end up with way too much left over as its always been guesswork of how much to put in the pan. This simple little thing has all the right sizes for up to four good portions and even has another size for that little extra if someone your cooking for is a big eater. No longer having to guess means less waste which also saves money. The cute mushroom shape and bright colours make it easy to find in the drawer but it would have been nice if it had a magnet on the back so it could be stuck to the fridge.

Cute spaghetti portions!
I really love this useful little addition to the kitchen - like many people, I am totally useless at portioning out pasta, which isn't good when you're also trying to watch your calories! This cute little mushroom gives options from one to four portions, and I especially love the teeny measuring space for a 'little extra', because that's always needed with pasta! This is made of good sturdy plastic, brightly coloured and hangs easily on a hook. It also washes easily - one of those things that you don't know you need until you have it, and this has made it so much easier to cook proper portions of spaghetti!

Cute item but weights would be really useful to include
I can’t resist a mushroom, so even though I have never felt the need for a dedicated spaghetti measuring tool in my life, I had to have this. It is priced at £6.95 at time of review, and someone has clearly had a lot of fun in the making and marketing. The packaging is headed “How mush spaghetti?” and proudly touts its green credentials - BPA free plastic and a way to avoid waste by overcooking (I guess people don’t do leftovers any more?!). It’s a very cute objects and includes measurements for 1-4 portions of spaghetti, with an extra slot for “a little bit more”. Freeing the mushroom from its packaging turned out to be a Herculanean task, but of course using it was a doddle. No surprise as there’s nothing “mush” to go wrong! The portion sizes seemed reasonable enough too. The only slight issue for us was that we would have preferred something to tell us a corresponding weight for each portion size - my partner is diabetic and has to inject according to weight of his carbs, so this isn’t very practical for him as it is. Would be nice to have this information on the packaging, or even the product page.

Useful? Perhaps!
This is a very simplistic tool to gauge how much paste/spaghetti (or really, any other paste-like food product that fits and you should cook. In all honesty, it does its intended job, but I would say at £7 it is quite expensive, I'd rather chime a bit more and get a kitchen scale instead as that'll be far more accurate in calculation portion sizes and works with a lot of other food.

A bit of fun.
This is a very pretty design, and is a bit of fun. It’s a spaghetti portion measurer. I like that it’s just a flat design, so it slides so easily into a kitchen drawer. We are trying hard to minimise food waste, so we have used this to measure out dried spaghetti before cooking, to make sure we only cook enough for the right number of portions. The hole sizes seem to be about right.

Cute, useful pasta portion measure
This is a cute design and provides a useful tool for controlling portion sizes. It works as expected, and in addition to having 1, 2, 3, and 4 portion measures it has the 'little bit extra' hole. What it's led me to discover, is that I massively overeat pasta, which I guess isn't that much of a surprise and is the reason I wanted it.
