Ok, so I’m a full on geek! I love to play video games & tabletop games. I don’t care how old I get, I’ll keep doing it. I absolutely loved the Mass Effect game so much I played it many many times. I may play it through again in a short time from now. So when I saw that Mass Effect had been used as the theme for a table top miniatures game, I went a little crazy from the excitement. But the price was unbelievable! Too high to make a genuine case for purchasing it with my wife’s approval. Until recently. This new price was not bad. I am in a situation where I’m stuck home for health reasons. So having things to do is a must. When I researched it I was impressed by the ratings on Amazon, on BoardGame.com and other places. They convinced me to just get it. I did. I’m thrilled. I’m learning how to play it & I’m definitely dry happy about the game. See, I don’t complain about something that I’ve put a lot of effort into prior to my final decision to buy. So I’m not like those who are all up in arms about certain features. While I share certain opinions about the way the game absorbs current political correct verbiage, I’m still too excited about getting the game to cause a stink. That detracts from the real reason for the reviews. The GamePlay is supposed to be the focus. The mechanics of it. So I have no complaints as of yet. I put too much energy into it to snap it to pieces. I LOVE Mass Effect and it entire Universe!

Branching mini campaign of 3-5 episodes. Play all in a day or break it ip over multiple sessions. Each game takes about 45 minutes to play. Easy to learn with dice rolls guiding your available actions. Use xp to unlock abilities for characters. Very thematic and a blast to play. Excellent artwork and super easy to set up and get into the game.

Great game

I was so excited to get this game as the original Mass Effect trilogy is one of my favorite pieces of media. However, following my purchase I learned that the board game has misspellings and more importantly the weird cult pronoun stuff on the game.They have it rated for kids and yet want to cram their mental problems into the game for indoctrination purposes. I could not be more disappointed in BioWare as a company. It truly is dead and will never be capable of producing immersive entertainment again. They only thing they care about is their weird fringe ideological crap. No thanks.

Not fun, feels like politics instead of a fun board game. Developers seem to be stuck in some DEI “dust born” world

A friend of mine got this, and when we opened it up, we found that all of the data cards for characters have all that weird grievance cult pronoun stuff.I didn't like it, I found it off putting, and we ended up returning it.If you don't mind that kind of stuff, then go for it.... But I found it to be in bad taste.

A poorly executed and convoluted Skyrim board game wanna-be.
