Toshiba 24WF2F53DB 24 Inch HD Ready Smart TV, TRU Resolution, TRU Micro Dimming, HDR10, Dolby Audio

This TV was purchased to be able to be watch live TV where we have wi-fi but no accessible TV aerial socket. It was easy to set up - I just skipped the section on tuning - and immediately connected to the wi-fi. Most apps are already installed - and it was easy to add any others that I use. Setting up (signing in to) the apps is also easy - via the QR code or a laptop -provided you know your existing passwords!.The user interface is reasonably intuitive and reasonably quick. The screen/picture/colour quality (from wi-fi) is satisfactory - the relatively low resolution (this 24" TV is only HD Ready, not Full HD) is fine for a TV of this size that is not our primary source of TV. The sound quality is only adequate - tinny and lacking bass - but this is a small and inexpensive TV with great features.

My techno abilities are pretty poor at my age. But I got this amazing TV up and running in 15 mins. Picture and sound quality are excellent....the remote is simple to use. I can honestly say this is the best TV I have ever bought for bedroom use. Also the price was unusually low as well. Thoroughly recommended..

The media could not be loaded. This little tv is perfect for the kitchen! I’m 74, and not brilliant at technology. I managed to set up within 20 minutes, including the stand feet. 2 simple screws to assemble, and installation of apps.The tv is a little slow to load but worth the minor wait. Otherwise, the picture and sound are decent. My Granddauhter was thrilled to discover that her own profile gives her access to her Amazon Kids+ account. Excellent!I am very happy with this tv overall - it’s just what I wanted.

Exactly what I wanted for a corner of my kitchen ! It was so easy to set up - it practically did it itself - I remember the days when you needed an electronics degree! -the picture is brilliant too!

I initially bought this Toshiba TV thinking it was a bargain, but it’s turned out to be a frustrating experience. The most annoying issue now is the sound – it randomly stops working and the only way to fix it is to unplug the TV and plug it back in. That’s unacceptable for any modern TV.On top of that, the sleep mode is poorly implemented. If you switch the TV on and leave it idle, or even pause what you're watching, it goes into sleep mode after a while. Annoyingly, there’s no option to disable sleep mode completely – the maximum you can set it to is 240 minutes. I've googled and youtubed to try to find a solution and nothing! That’s just ridiculous!All in all, this TV seemed like a good deal at the time, but with these recurring problems, I’m already looking for a replacement. Would not recommend – spend a bit more and save yourself the headache.

A really nice TV picture and sound are excellent the only problem I had was when it was delivered the remote batteries were flat had to go to the local shop to get replacements.
