I bought these for my two cats because they would fight when the food would drop. Now each has their own bowl to eat separately. I have also noticed now that each cat has their own bowl, when the food drops, they don’t come flying into the kitchen to eat. The design is great, sturdy and not easily able to tip over. Food capacity wise, I buy my cats a 7 pound bag of food and the container holds about 3/4 of the food. I like that it has an app so on days that I work 16 hour shifts, if I want to add a meal, I can do it straight from my phone. Highly recommend to buy this product

This is a great feeder. Very user friendly. The app is very functional and simple to navigate. Only returning because my cats won't eat from it. They aren't scared of the dispenser noise, just finiky lil buggers 😆

We’ve been using the Frienhund 2-Cat Automatic Feeder with Slow Feed for a little while now, and so far, we love it! The dual 7L compartments are perfect for our two cats, and the slow-feed function works really well to keep them from gobbling their food too quickly. The only downside is that setup requires downloading an app and connecting the feeder to Wi-Fi. It would be so much more convenient if the feeder could be programmed directly without needing a phone. Overall, it’s a great feeder that our cats really enjoy, just wish the setup was a bit more straightforward.

I am absolutely excited for this addition to weight watching for my girls. This has made moderating their food intake so much, and I know that theu are both actually eatting because of the opposite bowls. Now that they are now a schedule they are more active, affectionate, and no bored eating. The app is used with multiple devices within my house. Making it easy to schedule automatic feeding times multiple through out the day, with the opportunity to give an extra feeding of 1 or 2 serving portions. Playing and editing the portions was interesting the first two days but it is made to be extremely understanding. Set up was just as simple and easy as well.

We have been using it for awhile and the feeding time is accurate. A bit difficult to clean the inside at the bottom so you just have to wipe it instead of rinsing because of the battery. overall it is great and I definitely recommend it.

I love this! When we have to leave for a few days, I can control how much and how often the feedings happen. Make sure you use a smaller size of cat or dog food or it will clog up inside. Mine has worked well every feeding. As soon as the cats hear the food dropping the bowl they come running

This is SO much better than the old side by side competitor model. I had yo get a card board panel between the bowls to separate them. This new one is super easy to set up, within the phone application. Heavy duty power cord, I feel this is all around better quality. The bowls are on each side of the unit. Enough space to keep them from being on top of each other

I love it! Works well and allows me to give an extra feeding with a click of a button. I also like that it notifies me after it dispenses the meal.

Would not recommend this. Gets jammed all the time and sends a notification that food went down when it hasn't. Takes forever to fix. Then on top of that my kitten is able to jump on it and food comes out and its constant. I cant even return it as its past the return window. Wouldn't buy this again

I was so happy with this product at first but I've noticed at scheduled feeding times it frequently beeps, and notifies me that feeding has been successful, but no food actually comes out! My poor cats have been starving. Very concerned by this discovery, please do not purchase this product -it lies!

Do not purchase if you want frequent feedings with small amounts. The device does not work when feeding one portion, which is more than enough for for one sitting for a cat. The machine beeps, but it will not dispense any food. It only works for portions 2 or larger which is unfortunately not the intent of the purchase. Would not use and wish I could return.

The idea is great, but the app and dispenser fall short. We bought two of these because we have four cats and sometimes need to be away overnight for work. At first they worked well and portioned the food correctly. However, after about six months they began failing to dispense food even though the app reported a “successful feed.” The machine sometimes beeps and sometimes doesn’t, so my cats get the alert that food is coming but then receive nothing. We had to add extra scheduled meal times to cover for failures. We clean the units regularly (about every two months, whenever we open a new bag of food) and followed the troubleshooting steps, including resetting the Wi‑Fi, but nothing helped. Fortunately I’ve been off work for medical reasons and was able to notice the problem. I’ve contacted the sellers and am waiting to see their solution, because I can’t leave my cats unfed once I return to work — especially when the app falsely reports successful feedings.
