I can't speak highly enough about this product! I have been using it for years now. One application last for what seems like an eternity thru ALL weather conditions. My original use of this product in 2010 is STILL doing it's job!! I started using it for my hummer feeders to keep the ants off. Use a q-tip to smear a medium layer of the gel all around the hanger hook and the point where a hanging pole (if using) attaches to rails...or for ground stakes...smear all around the pole up high enough grasses and other plants don't touch the pole above the gel, thus allowing ants to freely climb. I also use it on the dishes for my feral cat colony...they never touch it and it does not interfere with them eating due to a foul smell. There is very little smell at all.

This is a great product. I’ve used this for years for my hummer feeders. It’s very effective. Lasts a very long time and doesn’t melt, even in hot southwestern summers. One application at the beginning of spring is enough to last all spring, summer. I started using this on the feet of feeding trays for pets outside. No more ants or bugs in the food bowls! It’s a little pricey, but certainly worth every penny.

It works. Ants start coming to our pets feeding spot every spring. I kept cleaning and applying different natural solutions that worked but didn't last. I won't use insecticide because of the pets and even for the ants.I'm happy that this works. I applied it not just right around the feeding area, but after locating where the ants were coming from every crack was treated.The only downside is the price. The amount of gel in every sachet is so small that you end up using several. I had to buy the product twice.Also, I used it to prevent ants coming back to our mailbox, they were already nesting between the mailbox and the wooden board underneath.I just wish they sell this product in a bigger container.

I have used with the guard on shepherd hook with my hummingbird feeder. Not one ant!!! It had previously been an issue. Other climbing bugs too. That was 3-4 years ago. Still, works every time! I honestly don’t reapply the gel often. Once a year per guard has worked for me.I’ve always recently tried it on a raised pet dish for a kitty that likes to visit. I put the gel all along the bottom, nowhere close to any food or dish. Being directly on the concrete pad, and food about 5” off the ground where all the ants could easily get to it. Nothing. Not one. They crawl around nearby but don’t even attempt to climb it. So now, I am super impressed!!The gel is tacky. Whatever you put it on, dirt, grime, other stuff will stick to it. It’s a little hard to wash off, but not big deal.Excellent product.

The BugSnub insect blocking gel lasts a long time, even in hot Georgia heat. I've had the BugSnub tray for 4 years and I still love it. I appreciate that I can purchase these refill packs.

Works great, just like it claims. Keeps the ants from crossing over it to get at my outside cat’s food. It’s been on for over a month and still it is working.
