Oregon 552635 Universal Replacement Brushcutter Guard

I wanted a guard to replace the one on my year old Husvarna brushcutter. The original has a flimsy bracket held with one weedy screw which soon broke . I refused to pay a crazy price for a replacement so got this guard. It is very robust, built of strong plastic and has a simple high quality attachment bracket held with two sturdy bolts which can be slid up and down the shaft to the desired height. It has several shims to fit different daimeter shafts. You need to ensure you use the correct one. Highly recommended.

Bought to use with the oregon jet fit head as the original was set a little too low for it and had no positional adjustment. Easy fit and works well.

Got this for my greenworks strimmer and hedge cutter. Look at all the parts. They provide parts to fit any diameter to attach to the pole of ur strimmer. I didn't notice this amd ended up taping around to thicken the area up to secure. I didn't need to. Plenty of metal brackets so you won't need anything. It's very big so make sure not too big for your strimmer

This really surprised me. I had intended to buy this because of the price as a temporary replacement as I figured it would only last 5 minutes. Couldn't have been more wrong. Really good, really good. I bought their cutting line before for my strimmer, the funky stuff, shaped with metal in it, and that was awesome too so I have no idea why my expectations were so low. I must have a look at all their other stuff now. Thoroughly recommend this product for sure.

This unit is definitely not a brushcutter guard. It might mangae light grass strimering protection, but the first serious bramble and the guard snapped. The plastic is cheap and soft. Should have spent the money on a proper husqvarna replacement. Shame, Oregon products have a good reputation. Not this - avoid.

Better than the original guard, though could be a bit taller to block more debris.

Se ve de buena calidad, el montaje es fácil, trae todo lo necesario, incluso adaptadores para varios diámetros de barra o tubo. Es incluso mejor que el que traía de fábrica mi desbrozadora.

Ho acquistato questo parasassi principalmente per il tagliafilo, comodissimo per usare la testina batti e vai così non impazzisco più. Nella confezione ci sono degli adattatori per aste da 24 e 26 millimetri (per aste da 28 non servono), sul mio decespugliatore con asta da 26 usando l'apposito adattatore è calzato a pennello. Vi farò sapere la durata nei prossimi mesi. Per ora ha radicalmente migliorato il comfort di utilizzo del decespugliatore.
