I purchased this to spark conversation with my mom, who had Alzheimer's. She really enjoyed it!

I'm in an assisted living facility and we kind of have limited activities. But when we play this, a lot of people show up and we have a great time.

Perfect conversation starter for dementia patient, we went around the table at a family gathering and we each asked our father the questions, it was so nice to focus on him directly and to see a smile or laugh we rarely see. Some of the questions are past his memory (end stages of dementia) but just having us laugh and focus on him made it a big hit! He had a good night sleep after all the mental stimulation.

My mother has dementia and finding activities for her can be hard. Also, she seems to have become more withdrawn in conversations and I wanted to try to find a way to help that. Also, I too find myself struggling to find things to talk to her about that capture her attention enough for her to engage. I thought I would get these and give it a try. It has been wonderful!Not only does it help my father and I to come up with things to talk to her about, she thinks its a game and gets excited to play. It has also been great for my dad as the questions start to trigger memories that have not been thought about in years.My dad often texts me now to tell me that they played this "game" for hours on any given evening. That type of mental stimulation has been great for mom.

These questions work well with my family members with dementia. I can’t use all of them, but the ones I don’t use help me come up with adaptations to use. I am glad I have these to use because now the loved one is talking instead of saying “I don’t know” and “I don’t remember.” I don’t think you will regret this purchase.

We used this with 96 year old senior who has short-term memory issues. It was great - he perked up, was engaged, joined in the conversations about various topics. Highly recommend.
