OP/TECH 901312 S.O.S Curve Strap - Black

I bought this to replace an existing strap on a Lowepro camera zoom holster. This is a nice wide comfortable strap which distributes the weight of the bag; thus making it feel not so heavy. The quality is amazing and the attachments to the bag's 'D' rings are really strong and secure. I have other bags which I can also use it on should the need arise. I was I bit hesitant, at first, to get this as I felt it was possibly a bit expensive for what it is; but I'm so glad that I bought it - it is worth the money, believe me! Definitely recommend this. 👌

Excellent, comfy, cheap. I use it to on my North Face Duffel Rucksack (which comes with straps suitable only for using as a rucksack on your back), and it makes the bag truly useful. Comfortably wide where it rests on your shoulder, relatively anti-slip, and nicely elasticated to make heavy bags seem lighter. My North Face bag has weighed 20kg and the strap has coped fine.

Very nice shoulder strap, its curved surface makes it distribute the load evenly to the shoulder. This does not mean that it will work a miracle; a 10 kg weight is still 10kg, they just distribute better, and thus the perception of weight could be less. I liked that the clips and the swivels are metallic, and also slightly bigger than in most other straps. I would prefer the slide adjusters to be metallic. Plastic gives a lower safety feeling. I did not like that the ends of the nylon belt are not terminated. This leaves them hanging out, which looks a bit odd, and creates the small probability that they can slip out (if a slider breaks, or if caught somewhere). They could either be terminated on the belt itself (eg sewn on a metal loop on the belt, so that they couldn't escape, they would just roll all the way down) or sewn on a metal loop underneath the slide adjusters (which would change the slider design though). Overall, 4/5 stars, with the missing star for the above small details that could make it perfect.

I have been after a shoulder strap for a Lowepro toploader, this bag has travelled the world, but the strap 'disappeared' so I started the hunt for a new one, as im starting to feel the strains of carrying a Canon 1D mkIV around I wanted something comfy, and this OpTech S.O.S Curve Strap is amazing, the neoprene padding is nice and thick, and takes the weight nicely, very nice strap for a silly price too compared to lowepro's luxury straps around the £75 mark, just buy one of these and never feel the straine again.

Really comfortable and sturdy. I use it on my Lowe Pro Toploader Zoom bag and it spread the weight of my camera really well. The strap that came with the bag was plasticy and has a really narrow strap. The Op-Tech strap doesn't chafe my neck like a basic strap.

I travel an unbelievable amount with work and have been sucked into this one bag travel approach - I even managed to take my patagonia MLS for 10 days to the US! The problem when you go for one bag is that you stuff alot in the bag and they don;t always come with great straps. This is awesome, it really does what it says on the tin and sticks to your shoulder well and the elasticity makes the weight feel alot less Definitely recommend

I have actually had similar optec item a few years ago so expected similarly good quality but was really suprised that they have managed to improve the straps quality even further......good stuff!!!

I purchased this as a replacement strap for my Tenba Small Messenger Camera Bag (somebody stepped on the plastic buckle on the original strap). Its extremely comfortably (much better than the original) and the bag does feel a lot lighter as the strap does not cut into your shoulder. For those that are interested, I normally carry a laptop (14") and a full frame DSLR with a couple of wide aperture single focal length lens (about 3kg in total).

This strap is what I have been needing for a long time! Such a great solution for a long, heavy ( 12lbs ), awkward, GITZA Tripod bag- It probably will be great on your bag too! I wouldn't put it on a full bag of golf clubs but that's in the 30lb+ range. This SOS OP/TECH strap is about 1 and 3/4in. wide and is a whopping 50in. long + 12 in more if fully, extended securely. It more than manages my 12lb bag, and the cushy shoulder pad is a welcome relief. OP/TECH makes many straps, this is the SOS -long one-I have a shorter one for my camera bag- and even a lighter-weight version one for my camera. Great Product! UPDATE- still going strong 8/22 and not a sign of wearing out - impressive! I just bought another shorter SOS for my camera bag.

Preso per sostituire la cinghia della borsa fotografica Amazon grande, che specialmente a pieno carico era piuttosto fastidiosa: l'imbottitura tendeva a girarsi ed era anche "scricchiolante". Questa è un altro mondo: la fascia in neoprene è larga e comodissima, anche se si indossa solo una maglietta distribuisce il peso in modo omogeneo e non da fastidio o "sega" la spalla. Gli agganci sono in metallo, robusti e silenziosi. Altamente consigliata.

Lange habe ich mich mit dem serienmäßigen Gurt meiner Lowepro Stealth Reporter geärgert, bis ich auf diesen Gurt gestoßen bin. Da ich schon Erfahrung mit Kameragurten dieses Herstellers hatte, habe ich sofort bestellt. Und was soll ich sagen? Das war ein voller Erfolg! Die Elastizität des Gurtes ist genau richtig (nicht zu weich für eine beladene Tasche) und die Anti-Rutsch-Beschichtung hält auf wirklich jedem Kleidungsstück. Meine Tasche trägt sich jetzt viel angenehmer, und rutschen tut sie auch nicht mehr (man muss jetzt nicht einmal mehr den Grurt diagonal über die andere Schulter legen). Absolut empfehlenswert, und nicht mal teuer!
