Excellent system and not just for cars - it's for the birds!
I originally bought this backup camera to use as a front-view camera since my car did not come so equipped. It worked very well: exceptionally easy to install and nice sharp picture. However, the night vision was not as good as I had hoped, so I replaced this system with another Auto-VOX system that does have very good night vision. So, what to do with this backup camera? My car has its own integrated backup camera.Hmmmm.Brainstorm! I mounted the camera in my butterfly and hummingbird pollinator garden! The camera is waterproof, so it isn’t bothered by the rain; wireless, so I did not need to run wires between house and garden; excellent color.I hooked the monitor to an adapter that powers it from a standard wall socket. Now I can enjoy my flying visitors anytime I feel the need! Most enjoyable and relaxing!

Great wireless solution!
This was too easy, even on the very tight fit for which I did it. I put it on a 2008 Porsche 911 997.1. It fit at the top of the frame and below the bumper cutout. Because of the tight fit, I can’t adjust the angle, but it has such a wide view that I don’t really need to. Great solution and excellent picture. The Porsche dealer was so impressed that they are going to tell their customers about it. And completely wireless. In addition, it charges via solar.

Good picture quality, easy to install.
The system works good for being a wireless unit. It does have its faults though. I had the monitor mounted on my dashboard and had to reposition it later and the monitor holder that adheres to the dashboard does its job well. Pro: It stuck very well and didn’t move at all. Con: When I peel it up to move, the bottom plastic is now curled, and the adhesive is missing or thick in spots and it doesn’t look very well. I wish it came with a traditional cell phone suction cup holder. Make sure it’s where you want it, and it works great the “first” time you stick it to the dash. The biggest complaint I would have is the placement of the camera in the bracket it attaches too. The picture is offset a little and not centered in the frame. I purchased this as a backup camera for hooking up a trailer. I wanted to see the hitch on the truck and the tongue of the trailer. The first time I screwed it to the license plate area of the truck and adjusted the camera down to see my hitch, the view in the monitor was angled and way to one side. I tried using it this way a few times but couldn't get used to the picture. I ended up using self-drilling screws to mount this on my tailgate so that the picture was centered. It works great for my application, but my truck is just an old work truck. I don’t like the looks of where I had to mount it, but it works.I have only had this for a short time, but so far it is working well for me.

Great Backup Camera
I waited a few months after installing the wireless solar backup camera to my 2016 Jeep Wrangler and I couldn't be happier with it. Given where the license plate is on the Jeep, the camera has to be offset but that made no difference to its operation. It was very easy to install, the display is very clear and it works flawlessly and is extremely helpful when backing up the Jeep. The solar aspect of this is great and it's never needed to be manually charged outside the initial charge. Great product!

Great backup camera, just get it.
Excellent backup camera that does exactly what I got it for. Setup was very simple, you just charge it up and then mount it behind your license plate and then you can mount the screen to your dash. It takes a second for the screen to connect, but the image is clear, and the night vision works fine as well. You can adjust the angle of the camera as needed, as well as the guide lines on the screen. I haven't had to charge it once since I got it several months ago. There have been a couple of times where it has lagged a bit, but it doesn't happen often and when it does, it isn't really an issue.

Insanely overpriced for the most basic cam system solution
1st Day review (3 stars):Very good camera and screen during evening. Lots of glare during morning and day, if you plan on keeping, get an anti-glare film for the screen and camera lens.Cons:The menu to switch between cameras and viewing modes is VERY basic, so basic that when you push down arrow to switch to camera 2, the only way to get back to camera 1 is to cycle down till it goes back to camera 1, the up arrow does NOT work when switching view modes. Thankfully the up arrow does work in the settings menu and it's sub-menus.There's no security screw, can be stolen easily if you don't have a decent anti-theft system.I live off a 3 mile long, poorly maintained, dirt road, very bumpy, had to get some 3M double sided tape to help keep it from moving around. Despite the mentioned cons, I will add more to this review as I use it more.1 week review (1 stars):Terrible night camera function, low visibility and video delay. The power button on the power adapter only turns the unit on and NOT off, so if you want the screen off right away it needs to be unplugged....Any hard bumps or constant rough terrain bouncing, slightly rotates the camera position out of place, I fixed this annoyance with gorilla tape.I set the camera to never turn off and ran the battery on the camera down to 1 bar, then disconnected the system and left the camera in the sun to solar charge, after 4 days of clear sunny skies, the power level was still 1 bar...If you traverse unpaved roads on a normal basis, this is not the solution for you. It's laughable how basic this system is for it's price. I bought a bunch of different backup cams to try out, for $3 LESS than this unit you can get the Wolfbox G840S which is 100x higher quality product and is an HD front and back camera system. I also bought a Chinese cheapy; Jansite front and back camera system for $60 and much better as well, not as good as the Wolfbox that I kept in the end, but a much better system if you're looking for quality at a cheaper price. If this unit sold for $30, I would say that's a fair price for what it is, but for $104!?! What a joke!
