This is the second step of an excellent haircare system that promotes thickness and volume in fine/thin hair without the weigh-down associated with heavy silicones or excessive conditioning.I’m a male with thinning hair, and when I use this system, I notice less shedding, a fuller appearance to my hair, and softer hair. After rinsing out the treatment from the system, I apply this apple/floral-scented shampoo. The clear, moderately thick shampoo suds very well with very little product and provides a thorough cleanse. When I first used the products in the system, I had my doubts that the shampoo would be able to cleanse the remaining treatment from my hair, but the shampoo cleanses very well to a healthy squeak.This shampoo could absolutely be used on its own, and it will provide a thorough cleanse.

Works pretty well and affordable

I’d buy this for the smell alone !! It smells so good it will make you want to wash your hair daily. Great product and doesn’t damage or cause build up like a lot of drugstore brand hair care products do. You can’t beat the price either so it’s a definite winner. Will be continuing to purchase on the regular.

I've used this shampoo several times now. I honestly can't say whether it's helped with fullness repair. I feel like most of the effects (moisturizing, volumizing, etc.) rely on the conditioner and styling products.That said, this shampoo is gentle and cleanses my hair well. It's clear and lathers up well. So well that you don't need to use much, which is good because it's a relatively small bottle.I do find the scent a bit strong, sort of an artificial perfume, and am not a fan. Other than that, I'm impressed by how clean my hair feels without being dried out.I got another Garnier conditioner to use with it, the moisture repair one, and together they work really well. I wash, condition, and then put a styling cream in my hair. It's naturally curly, about a 2B to 2C. I haven't needed any leave-in conditioner after using this set. I do feel like it removes my water-soluble products well and my hair and scalp feel nice and clean.As I said, it does have a strong smell and the price is a bit high for this small bottle. Those are the only negatives.

This product works! After the first use my hair looked thicker and fuller. The conditioner and spray in this line are also great. Would 10/10 recommend.

Bought shampoo and conditioner. It did nothing for my hair except make it soft and clean. Fullness? Forget about it.What I need again is ROOT AMP which was the only thing that ever worked on my hair and they discontinued it. Blah to you Frutis.
