Microsoft Surface Ethernet Adapter

Finally, a reliable adapter I can count on. I've been using this a lot for when there isn't any wireless signals. I have yet to experience a problem and I'm glad it has a USB 3.0 plug so I can take advantage of our school's fiber network. It works very well with other computers. In fact, I've tried this Ethernet Adapter on my Asus X550CA which has both 3.0 and 2.0 USB ports. Both work fine. Note, that this will work on a USB Hub!Windows installs the drivers automatically from Windows Update when you first plug it in. No need for a disk. Just connect your computer or tablet to a wireless connection, and let it do it's thing. Very simple install. Works very well with Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 10.

I sent back a less expensive brand because it would not "snap" in place and the cable kept falling out. Zero problems with this adapter, worked out of the package, gives excellent throughput, and...it allows the cable to snap in place like it should. I've used this adapter many times in the past couple of months all without issue. I prefer hard wire to wireless when I can, this fits the bill.

Works just fine. I use this on other laptops (including a MacBook Pro). It fits into any USB port or USB hub.

Use this all the time at customer account sites. Allows me to easily connect to their network. Small in size, does the job, what more can you ask?

Fantastic it works seemlessly. I do not have Wi-Fi at work and This adapter plugged directly to a powered 5 port USB HUB solves the problem. I am very satisfied and have had no problems at any time. I do not hesitate in recommending it.

Purchased for use with my SP3; works perfectly as described. I use the box it is packed in for storage as it is sized sturdy yet small and slim to fit in my case.

Its a USB Ethernet adapter. More expensive than others but guaranteed to work with Surface Pro 3. Mine works as advertised and does what I need it to. Would like to see the price point lower on these so I wouldn't consider 3rd party products in this category.
