This is so nice. Just strap it on, which is easy to do and continue on with your work. The velcro holds snugly and the ice pack stays cold for at least30- 45 minutes. It is soft and flexible allowing for easy movement.

Seems to work well for me. Holds heat and cool for longer than another similar product I have. These were larger than I thought, but moldable so it will work for a variety of areas after a recent surgery.

Large and cold. I'm not large, I'm small and hot / so this was very helpful to my lower back pain. High quality.

I bought my first Magic Gel belt Feb 2023. I just bought another one (Sept 2024) so the belt & ice packs work for a long time. I fully expect this one will last another year & a half. I use this belt on my hips & lower back all day, every day. It's very adjustable. I like that I can wear it more on one hip or the other, on my lower back & even higher up on my back...wherever I'm hurting the most at the time. I also like that this belt is quick & easy to take on & off. While I'm wearing one ice pack, the other is in the freezer. I usually wear leggings & a t-shirt so I hang a folded dish towel on the inside of the belt to temper the cold then pull it out as the pack gets more comfy. When it loses its cool, I switch & the other pack is ready to roll. On average, I switch these 2 ice packs 3 to 4 times a day (using each pack 2x). It totally helps to keep the pain meds to a minimum. When I leave the house I'm wearing one ice pack so I put the extra one in a small cooler between some similar-sized generic ones so I can switch them out all day long while I'm on the go. It is important to point out that I don't wear this belt at night. That's just not a good idea but PM is when I use the hands-down best roll-on that has msm (absorbs the med & smell into the muscle in <30 seconds) & glucosamine that absolutely DOES Stopain (that's not a typo).. SKIP THIS PART IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW WELL THIS BELT WORKS ON SEVERE PAIN. So I have severe sciatic entrapment in BOTH hips. I was born with it. It's inoperable. The sciatic nerve is webbed with the piriformis & gluteus medius muscles. All 3 are pulling in different directions. The forces were torquing up my spine. Nobody believed me until I needed a lumbar fusion because the deformity was literally twisting my L5 & L4 vertebrae around. The fusion fixed my lower back but locked the forces down in my hips causing agony there. That gave me an answer right there so I found an awesome hip doc who found the problem & has had to surgically tack my left gluteus medius back onto my hip because it was tearing away from the bone (which feels like a red-hot knife stabbing you). Believe it or not, the fusion was way easier to get over than the hip surgery. TMI? Too bad because for no darn reason, I had an L1 fracture a year ago & I don't even have osteoporosis. That caused L2 & L3 bulging discs & significantly narrowed foramen (holes) where the sciatic nerve exits the spine that are now severely pinching the nerve. So now I have severe sciatic pain from pulling AND pinching...yeah, me! I'm scheduled for a fusion on a fusion where all of that extra pain-causing stuff will be repaired & stabilized later this month by the same great fusion doc as before. I'm counting down the days until I ONLY have the hip pain that I was born with, LOL. Now it makes perfect sense why I could NOT do splits to try out for cheerleading in high school. Why it got too painful to ride my horse. Why I couldn't ride behind my hubby on a motorcycle so I got my own. Squatting pain & not being able to lean forward to ease the pain is a big clue that you have some kind of piriformis issue. Aqua therapy wasn't helpful because all I wanted to do was bend forward in 4 feet of water, blub-blub. Many years, quacks & expensive tests later, my hip doc found this deformity on, are you ready? An X-RAY! Where's an eye-rolling emoji when you need one? Told you that you might learn something. If not you, maybe this info will help someone you know. I hope this gem of a belt helps you as much as it helps me!

I absolutely love this thing! I slipped a couple disks a few years ago at my job, and this does wonders whenever my back starts acting up. I haven't tried it hot yet, but when frozen it lasts FOR-EVER!! My only complaint is the mesh separating the pack from your body uses velcro that can be hard to line up and scratches if your shirt rides up. I don't recommend using this without a shirt as it's very cold and can damage your skin. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase; it fits perfectly, it's really flexible and doesn't shift around too much, and has been my go-to when my back starts hurting. Super effective at dealing with flare ups, I just wish the velcro wasn't so troublesome.

Edited: After I left the 1-star review, I felt bad. Normally if I product is defective I would contact customer service and ordered a replacement. I was in the throes of a new back fracture and in a lot of pain, however, so I quickly ordered one from a different company, even though I previously had a good experience with this company in a prior purchase. The reason I am raising this to a 5 star reviews is 2-fold. While I was waiting for my other product to ship, I actually found my old pink/purple cold belt that I had purchased a couple of years ago. That one worked flawlessly, which made me think that I had just gotten a lemon. Recently, the company messaged me through Amazon. They did not ask me to change my review but, instead, asked for more details about my experience. After I replied they messaged me back the next day saying they really appreciated my specific feedback so that they could follow up on this and make sure that this was not an ongoing problem. I was impressed by their sincerity, and they fact that they did not try to ask me to change the review or give their product another try. Looking back at this, I realize that if I hadn't been in so much pain at the time, I would have contacted the company and they would have replaced it right away and made it right. This pink/purple is still going strong and if I need to order another one I won't hesitate to order from this company. I think they make the best looking versions of this product and have actually received compliments on my old one. They have several thousand reviews, so my low review wouldn't make a dent in their overall ratings. But they cared enough about their product to reach out, and that means a lot in my book! I've had this for exactly 10 days. Loved it the first nine, but today I noticed my back was getting poked my something sharp. I reached my hand behind my backback and found what I thought must be some kind of thorn, although I had no idea how it would have gotten there. I pulled it out and tossed it, but then I started feeling more pokes. I pulled it off and discovered that the bottom velcro strip is disintegrating. it is pulling away from the fabric and little, sharp pieces of velcro are flaking off. (There were more than what is shown in the photo.) This is what was piercing my skin through my shirt! I am so disappointed because I fractured my back 12 days ago and this has helped so much with the pain. But I'm worried that if I just order a replacement, the same thing will happen. I have the purple/pink version that I bought a couple of years ago that I just found and that one seems to be fine. I going to use this old one and maybe look for another brand.

I love this tests able lower back ice wrap. Easy to put on and take off. Allows you to ice while moving around if you want. Comes with 2 gel packs, so you can interchange them if using it often while the previously used gel pack freezes up again. My only wish is that it was a bit bigger. It is good to hit my main spot, but as a guy, if it were bigger with more coverage, it would be perfect. That said, I would absolutely buy it again. It works too well, and is so flexible. Cannot beat it in that regard.

Very useful it gives great therapy hot and cold easy to use must have around home for sore muscle back relief whole body.
