Small, Bright, & Affordable... A different approach to Solar.
I love the approach D.light takes with solar! Being developed mostly for 3rd world conditions they have designed things not only to run off solar, but to work more efficiently with less power so you don't need a full solar array to run them, & are thus more affordable then other solar power solutions. The light is a bit smaller then I thought, which is a plus for my situation due to having very little space. It charges even under indoor light, puts out a surprizing amount of light for it's size, takes up Very little space, is extremely simple to use (Only 1 button for off & on), & seems durable (though I just got it so time will tell)... I'd not only buy It again, but also plan on getting more products from this company!

Smaller than the original d-light but it's just as bright
I love the original d-light I had bought a couple years ago. I mostly use it for reading in bed at night, bright enough to read by but doesn't bother hubby. But we've had a couple electric outages since I bought the original, and it came in just as handy as a flashlight, to read by and to see by in pitch dark. It's reassuring to know you have something that can be recharged with sunlight, in case of a long-term electric outage. So I bought this second one, a little smaller but charges just as well and I think it's just as bright as the original. The only thing not quite as good as the original, to my way of thinking, is that the little wire base is smaller too, and this one won't fit over the top rail of the banister on our deck outdoors. Oh well, I just put it on the narrower bottom rail, or it could be simply stood right on the floor of the deck in the sun.

Nice light
Solid little light, nice and bright. It's not big, fits in the palm of your hand. I like the little stand it sits on. This is the second one I have bought, this one is for my son. Very happy with it so far.

In constant use since 2017
I love this little light! My first light that I bought in 2017 is still in constant use as a daily flashlight. Many more were bought after this one, and friends and family love these little lights equally. I used it again today and figured I should finally write a review. I leave it on the windowsill or hang it on a curtain rod to charge when not in use. I’ve never had to replace the batteries or have it go dark on me; it’s just that well made. The A2 has a nifty stainless steel stand that can be rotated around and it will stay in place due to the lamp’s light weight and the way the stand is designed. That way, you can use the stand as a carry handle or hanging loop, with the lamp pointing at a specific angle. This design is absolute genius. All d.light lamps I’ve bought over the years have these three advantages: * Charge well even if it’s not bright and sunny out (they all have an LED indicator for charging) * The light lasts a very long time * Are well made and made to last for years and years of use: not one of the many d.light lamps I bought for myself or as gifts over the years since 2016ish have broken or stopped working * Are light weight

Great, bright light, and very portable!
This is a great solar light..you would think by the size it wouldn't be bright , but it works great so far and is very bright! It's good for walking, great for small spaces too, or using at a table at night with the legs it has.

Bombproof Lighting
These lights are pretty awesome! Robust design, well built, provide a surprising amount of light, and recharge quickly. These are the standard lighting option for several campers in my Off Grid group and all swear by them. Dependable, Simple and Functional.

Doesn't work anymore
Purchased this a year ago. The button to turn the light on does not work anymore.

Great addition to d.light's model lineup. Great for travel.
I've used different models of d.light solar lanterns for years and really like them. They have consistently charged faster and lasted longer than other brands and models I've tried, which is really essential during multi-day power outages. This new A1 model is a great addition to the d.light line, since it's much smaller and lighter than they're other models. It fits very neatly in a backpack or suitcase. I travel with it. Originally I planned to use take it only to countries where electricity reliability is an issue, but then I got in the habit of leaving it in my travel bag, and I was glad I did when I was in the southern U.S. recently during huge thunderstorms that knocked out power where I was staying. Having your own solar rechargeable light, at home or on the road, really makes a difference when the power goes out. I'd recommend d.lights larger lantern for your home emergency kit and this little A1 model for your travel bag.

I’ve been using these products for years! Just reliable. Keep them in a place where they stayed charged for when you least expect you will need them! Power outages! I have several after living in a remote area of Australia where outages were frequent and for many hours. Aim it at the ceiling and you have decent illumination. Small, light and thus great for camping and portaging. I’ve had mine for over 10 years now and they still work! Get three!

What would you like: 1) honest solar charging system as it only have solar panel for input and very sensitive solar panel. 2) brightness is good enough not effective can work as small lantern. 3) almost 24 hour dim mode backup after 3hours full mode, in which it atomatically which from bright to dim(no manual effort needed) 4) 2hour charging is enough for 3hour backup. 5) good stand design very useful in hanging or tablet purpose. What would you dislike: 1) highest brightness which is not enough, stays only for 3 hour. 2) no auto switch on option after sunset. 3) no full to dim or wise Versa manual button.

Very nice

This solar charging light is small and handy. Light emitted is for small work or room. I didn't like it's switch which is delicate and not so smooth. I fear it will easily come out sooner than expected.

Value for money. Don't expect much brightness with this price range. I am using this brand since last 6 years and still working in perfect condition. I believe this is my 6th light from this brand. I purchased these lights for gifting purpose. Super product and works perfectly in low light condition as well.
