Accurate and easy to use
Unfortunately we had some water damage and this was easy to use. It was accurate with indicating what areas were damaged from the leak and very functional. I would recommend.

Hardwood or softwood are easy to get an estimate of moisture without damaging the surface with pins. Essential for keeping air dried lumber straight and true.

whether or not I have a lot of moisture in my walls, not as helpful as I thought it would be
I thought I would tell me whether or not I had mold it doesn’t seem to really give me an idea whether or not there’s mold underneath the wood that I’m checking

The moisture readings are inaccurate. It basically said my whole house was super wet and it is not. I bought it preventatively in case we have a leak or anything. I tried using it on stuff I knew was dry like furniture and the moisture rating was still in the 20%s. I don’t live somewhere humid either. Seems weird ..
