I have mid-shoulder blade length baby-fine hair. I wash and condition my hair daily because I wake up looking like Medusa. I also have psoriasis and am extremely sensitive to chemicals. I wanted to try to find a shampoo and conditioner that were sulfate and phosphate free. I found the Silk18 shampoo and conditioner and decided to try it.I have been using this for over two months now. First, let me say that I can use about half of what I would use of another product, to do a better job. I wash my hair with the shampoo, then follow with leaving the conditioner on my hair while I take the rest of my shower letting it do its' magic. (Bonus points for having to only use the same small amount of conditioner as shampoo, instead of using more conditioner than shampoo like usual!) It soothes any scalp irritation I have, and leaves my hair clean - and oh so soft! I have also noticed very few split ends, where I used to have a lot! My hair looks and feels healthy! I also love the soft fragrance! I have actually told others about Silk18 - and it's half the price of what I was paying at the salon for their formulas that left my hair brittle! When I started to run out, I immediately ordered more! I don't have to change, even occasionally, to avoid buildup of any kind. It's just been the perfect shampoo and conditioner in every way! I can't recommend it highly enough!

This stuff is amazing. I have deep dark chocolate brown hair with purple highlights that I’ve maintained for 5+ years now. I have combination textured hair that’s soft and shiny in some areas and...the complete opposite in others. The constant bleaching that I have to get done to have the vivid purple isn’t doing me any favors. I finally decided to get a keratin treatment because the straightening that I have to do daily so my long hair doesn’t look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket everyday is also adding to the problem but I won’t be getting that done for another month. I wanted to try something, anything in the meantime to see what results I could get and man this stuff is amazing. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now and the results I got after just one wash are still the case now. It’s so smooth and soft after just blow drying that I can easily get away with skipping the straightener. It’s not perfect, but it’s a lot better than it was. I love the scent too, and it’s pretty affordable. I would recommend this to anyone!

Had a light scent and smells like vanilla to me.Very light weight and my waves and curls live this stuff.My scalp drys out during the spring and summer season so this absolutely helped with my dry itchy scalp.I recommend this product!I’m super happy that my hair and scalp are finally happy and non irritated.I have very sensitive skin so I have to watch what products I use.Tired of wasting money on products that make things worse for my skin.This is a very good product and I do wish it came in bigger bottles.

I decided to try this shampoo & conditioner after being exasperated with static cling in my hair all the dang time. Wanted something that would protect my hair and encourage my length to stay split end free and remain silky smooth. Let talk smell. I am highly allergic to floral sents and drives me insane when product is listed as coconut or mint and I get undertones of floral. No floral here. Completely the smell as advertised and not lingering or Overpowering, light and will not interrupt any other scent you might want to wear.Static control - took 3 washings before completely under control but was a difference after first wash.It is very soft, nit as silly as other Shampoo & conditioner sets I've tried but they left me with winter static and this product has made me static free and sky soft all with holistic non chemical ingredients! I'm thrilled.

The smell. I can't get past the smell on this one. I'm a floral person, and this smells like vanilla frosting so much I almost gag putting it on, and I love vanilla frosting, but not on my hair. Pros: It softens my chemically damaged hair, but there is no way I can use this continually. I will be going back to a different Maple Holistic Shampoo set, likely the Apple Cider Vinegar. If you like vanilla cupcakes and don't mind smelling like it, then by all means, go for it because this seems to do the trick; otherwise this brand has alot of other worthy options with better natural fragrances.

Absolutely thrilled with this shampoo and conditioner! I was skeptical they could work as well as the positive reviews seemed to state. I feel as though I have tried every option out there without success, until these products. I have very fine longer straight hair that is highlighted. I use a blow dryer and steam curlers every day, so my hair is subject to a lot of abuse. I find that many moisturizing or volumizing products or too heavy or drying for my fine hair. But these products leave my hair truly feeling moisturized, silky, shiny, and strong with daily use. Grateful to have found these products, and always try to only support vegan and cruelty free products. Ordered my second set!
