Perfect replacement gearbox
This was an exact replacement for my 253mm gearbox. Works perfectly and both top and bottom sections of the multipoint work. Total time to replace was about 5 minutes.

I ensured I measured it against the lock I was replacing so that I didn’t need to send it back. Fitted perfectly and saved me a lot of money doing it myself

Good replacement lock for a hook multilock system double glazed door
The lock was a direct replacement for a mechanism that was broken by a locksmith to gain entry into the house. The lock was well packaged, the latch required rotating for the door, however this was easily carried out using a Philips screwdriver. The lock was fitted into the multilock system by 4 screws (not supplied), I used the original screws but for some reason they didn't tap into the threads of the new lock. With the use of an pact driver this issue was easily solved, powering the screws into the lock mechanism was successful. Fitted the unit into the door within 20mins and all worked perfectly, great price and good quality products, would have got 5 stars if it was supplied with screws for the multilock system.

Great fit for a safeway French door
My gearbox mechanism broke, locking and unlocking the door was almost impossible. After taking the old gearbox off, I realised that one of the circular 'gears' had broken with a large chunk of metal breaking off!New gearbox was an exact fit. Whilst it's clear there was some grease inside for the mechanism, I feel they could've added more for a smoother locking performance.It's day 2...so far, so good

Beware of potential incompatibility issues
The actual gearbox seems of OK build quality, however before ordering the part you should confirm with the seller the actual length. This particular gearbox is advertised as 253mm in length and you must absolutely make sure that the part they will send is exactly as advertised otherwise it may not work with your particular door locking mechanism
