VTech Smart Shots Sports Center

I love this toy but more importantly, so does my son! I got this for my 20 month old and he is obsessed with the soccer and basketball ball toy this comes with. He will just put the balls in the hoop over..and over... and over! We all know that with most toys, kids will not stay interested for long. We have had this toy for three months now (it was a xmas gift) and he still enjoys playing with it. My son also loves to see the numbers flash on the screen because he will say the number. Putting the toy together was super easy and simple, just make sure you buy the required batteries because this toy does not come with them. I have a small living room and I'd say it does not take too much space.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 1 year old twin godchildren (a boy and a girl). I had never seen this product before browsing Amazon for some early Christmas shopping. I must say that this is one of the most adorable toys I have ever seen for young children! I love toys that incorporate learning into fun, and this one hits the jackpot! An added bonus is that it will keep the kids active and physically engaged (especially since they are both pretty active and busy all the time)! Although I have not taken it out of the box yet, I can tell the size is pretty good and I love that both the little boy and little girl will enjoy playing with this for several more years. I can't wait to see them enjoy this toy! I know they will!

This sports center is really cute - and I love that there is a place in the back to store the balls - that is a great feature. I gave this to my son for his 1st birthday-he is not stable enough yet to kick the soccer ball, but he loves the basketball hoop and the lights on the backboard (where you see the #3 in the picture). The lights change and make little pictures/designs as the songs play, which my son loves. The songs are cute too - and, let's be honest, the songs will get stuck in your head, so it helps that they are not annoying ;-) I think this toy will be one my so will enjoy for a long time.

I bought this for my nephew's 1st birthday after seeing one from my other nephew's 1st birthday. Both boys loved this toy. The sensors for basketball and soccer are terrific and there are additional levers, spinning stuff, and noises to keep the babies attention. I would have given it 5 stars but there's a small danger factor with this toy...both of my nephews are in the grabbing-I-don't-want-to-let-go stage so when they're playing with the basket hoop and they fall down, the whole thing comes falling down on them. The whole thing isn't terribly heavy but hard enough to make a 1 year old cry. This was only a slight issue. The adults had just as much fun playing with this as the kids did and overall, I think this is a great toy.

My baby loves this toy!! Thus, I love this toy! My 10 month old loves the hoop and will find any toy to drop down the hoop. I love watching him play his own version of basketball. The sound effects every time an object goes thru hoop or into soccer net are very cute! My little guy doesnt realize that yet of course but I appreciate the little details! My son also loves to play with the knobs, buttons, gears, and the two balls the set comes with. Vtech really does not disappoint when it comes to toys! For the price, I really had lower expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the smart and intuitive constructionif this toy. Also a plus -It is not overly stimulating (lights and sounds can be turned off anyway). My son loves to flip this over onto himself but it hasnt been an issue because it is very lightweight. There was also minimal assembly, which is another thing I have come to look for with toys. Overall, I highly recommend this for older infants and toddlers and as a great addition to any playroom!

Cute & fun

I am absolutely obsessed with Vtech products! and as a mother of a one year old I am always looking for the next toy! This was by far my sons favorite birthday gift! The colors are very bright, the sound is loud enough but for us mommies not overly annoying and the toy overall will definitely hold up to the wear and tear that a toddler is going to put on this! I love that it does more than just "drop the ball through the hole and or kick the ball in the net" It has shape buttons that help to introduce shapes, numbers and sounds; and the early learning center comes with 50+ songs, sounds and phrases! I do wish that there was on option to raise the toy up a bit because i feel like this will be too small for an older or very tall toddler, though i wont be too picky. Overall this is an amazing toy filled with so many amazing and fun features that will keep your little one entertained for years!

Purchased this as a gift for my 1 year old son's birthday. He loves this toy and gets a lot of use out of it. So many of his toys go un-played with, but not this one. The hoop and net make noise everytime the ball touches it. Also there are lots of buttons that make fun sounds and music. I think my son plays with this at least once a day. Note - it is a fairly small set though, so I doubt kids older than 2 would be very interested in it. I think this is a great toy for the 1-2 age range.

Oh man, I love this. It's sturdy, fun colors, the balls are great: nice and bouncy but not too hard. My son loves it and I have to admit, the adults in the house love playing with it too. The screen keeps count and the songs are quite fun. It has to sound levels and even the highest isn't too loud so it stays bearable even if baby wants to play a while.

My 16 month old loves to put the ball through the hoop and he loves to push the buttons and listen. He also led rop flip it over, its super light. It's small but I don't mind the size for him. He's little.
