Best water heater I’ve ever used!
The price was very competitive for this water heater, and it was worth every penny! It was pretty easy to install, and makes endless hot water without sacrificing any water pressure. If anything, the water pressure is better now!If you need a water heater, buy this one without hesitation!

Nice W/H but pulls alot of pwer when used!
This product arrived super fast. I got a great deal on item as it was from Amazon Warehouse, yes it had a few dents and other things going on with it, but had never been installed. I was able to straighten out the dents and bracket so you cant even tell it was damaged. Over all we are happy with this unit, our home is around 3500 square feet and we have 3 Bathrooms, 2 of the baths having tubs. I was worried about the flow rate with our master bath, but honesty this unit works great. It does take a few seconds if we are using hot water all the way on other side of house to get super hot, but when it does get hot it stays that way for as long as you need it too. I happen to be a contractor so I was able to install the unit myself thankfully, but for average home owner this would be costly to have installed. The unit takes 4 - 40 Amp two pole breakers and pulls around 150 amps if I remember right. I already installed a new service at my home right after we bought it and its 400 amps. If anyone is thinking about getting this unit I would do a load calculation on your home before ordering. If you don't have atleast a 200 amps service then don't buy this unit. Go with the smaller units overall seems to be great unit and just hope it will last.

Excellent product replacement from smaller unit. Hot water everywhere. YEAH!
Definitely worth the money, also the space in the garage allows for more storage and an efficient way to have hot water

Quiet tankless hot water heater
Had an electrician install. Basically silent. Our last tankless was very loud. We're pleased!

This product is not cheap to install. You need both a electrician and a plumber.
Could not installed the house did not have the 220 voltage needed to install 4 eight gage wire required. And it would have cost $5,000.00 to rewire the whole house.

Dead on Arrival
I removed my 10 yr old Eemax that was leaking and installed the new EEM24036 unit this morning with the intentions of testing it first by only connecting one set of wires, to my surprise nothing happened. No lights and no hot water. Since it was only 7:30 am east coast, the support center was not open. I went though all the diagnostics I could think of, checking wires and connections with my amp meter and everything checked out. I called the support center after they opened and the tech suggested I check the fuse on the main board. I opened up the panel and found the fuse, it looked fine, but I noticed that next to the fuse there was a open connector and below that was a connector hanging freely attached to a red wire. The tech told me that it should be connected and sure enough after I flipped the breaker back on and ran the hot water the panel lite up and I had hot water. A little disappointed at the QA, the connector has a clip that holds it in place, it obviously was not clipped in correctly. But with a little help from tech support and extra installation time we now have hot water. My old unit had 4 control boards, one for each heating element, the new one only has one and a digital display for setting the temp. Old unit, you used the quarter turn inlet valve to adjust temp. Seems like a great replacement.

works good
a little complicated to install, works good be sure to follow safety rule if you get air into water system and be sure to turn off power to prevent damage to elements when purging air from system.
