Best meter I've ever used
Best meter I've ever used. I had a 1000.4 EA dish lined up solid using built-in settings in about 2 minutes. Still exploring other features but first impression is excellent!

Best General Satellite Meter Ever
The AI Turbo S2 is the best satellite meter on the market. Period. It's a worth while step up from it's more affordable little brother, the Super Buddy 29. There are some specific technical things it can do that the Super Buddy 29 can not, but I doubt even 1% of professional satellite installers would use these features. What makes it way better for my purposes is the battery life and the response time of the meter's hardware. The signal level refresh rate is more than twice as fast as the Super Buddy 29, and makes it considerably faster to find signal on the first course peak. It's fantastic for almost every system out there - Dish, DirecTV, Ku FTA, Glory Star, and more. I haven't used it for C-band YET, but I'm sure it will do everything I can imagine there too. (It doesn't do two way internet systems, but you typically don't need a meter for Hughes or Exede). The AI Turbo S2 will NOT see simulated IRD signal quality on DirecTV's 99 or 103 birds due to proprietary reasons (DARN YOU DIRECTV!!!) but you can still peak on 101 just fine and get 99/103 perfect 98% of the time. DirecTV's own AIM meter is the only thing that CAN see 99 or 103 quality, but that meter (the AIM) takes a FULL MINUTE to turn on and has terrible battery life when compared to the AI Turbo S2. Also, the AIM, while cheaper, is useless for all other systems.Get the AI Turbo S2. You won't regret it.
