Nesco MS-2-6 Round Mesh 15 1/2" Clean-A- Screens Fits Food Dehydrators 2 Pack

I recently bought my first Nesco dehydrator and went about drying everything I could find (laughing). Since I have a small herb garden on my patio, I began with basil, thyme, sage, etc. These wonderful mesh sheets kept those small items perfectly while drying. Nothing fell through the mesh or the tray. Since I cut the basil leaves either in half or thirds to help dry, I had small pieces. The finger holes on either side of these mesh trays help you twist the tray to release anything stuck on it during drying and also helps to direct the dried product into a bowl so that you can process it for final storage. I wash things like this by hand even when they can go in the dishwasher because I honestly don't find it to be a hardship. They wash beautifully and easily. I generally use a soft, round brush to hand wash things and it is perfect for these. Nothing remains stuck in the mesh at all. Just last week, I dried delicious Ranier cherries to rehydrate and add to smoothies in the winter. I cut each pitted cherry in half to speed up drying and even with natural juice, I was able to loosen each cherry and the screen washed clean in an instant. I bought enough sets to use on each tray in my Nesco for larger drying loads and I find these to be economical and a necessity. I don't want to be unprepared for whatever I dry. These are very nice, and again, so very easy to keep clean.

I use my Nesco American Harvest Gardenmaster dehydrator several times each week. It works wonderfully but without the clean-a-screens it's difficult if not impossible to keep small sized items from falling through the trays. These Clean-A-Screen Plastic-Mesh Dehydrator Screens makes dehydrating a snap as they work with even the tinest items and keep things where they should be. They're definitely worth the money. My only complaint is I ordered 4 sets and each set came in its own box. Seems a waste to package and ship them in this manner. Otherwise, I'm happy.

This liners fit my wife's dehydrater perfectly. They are really great when she dries many of our home grown herbs and vegetables. They are very easy to clean and store on the dehydrater racks. Very pleased with this product. Thanks.

Look to be just what the seller said they were. I now can add more trays to my dehydrator. These are nice a strong I can see getting many years of use out of them. This fits the new dehydrator I bought but it does not fit my old one. I had to cut them down which works great.

I very much like the Clean-a-Screen, however, it has one drawback. After only a couple of uses, the material tends to buck up and get rough and uneven. I already see that I will be replacing these screens very often, which is going to be rather expensive. I have a smaller dehydrator and bought a screen material that I cut to fit (rectangular). It's much less expensive and works great. It's softer than the Clean-a-Screen, but since it works, why couldn't round screens be made from it to fit this dehydrator? I don't think the screen would wrinkle if made from the softer material.

We own the Nesco Garden Master and these screens are the perfect addition to our unit. If you are going to be putting fruit on your trays to dehydrate you are going to want to get these!! I used the trays without them first before realizing how badly the food sticks...our sinks weren't big enough to soak the trays themselves so that left me with a lot of scrubbing. Now that I use these, the clean up is easy and simple. They are very pliable and fit in the sink no problem. The fruit comes up off the screen very easily and if you don't feel like washing them...they are top shelf dish washer safe! A must have product for your dehydrator!!

These screens fit my Nesco Gardenmaster (1040 model I think) perfectly. I liked the one it came with, so wanted more. They work great. I've used them several with tomatoes, oranges, and apples so far. The yellow tomatoes have left a light yellow stain that hasn't come off with the usual light cleaning. Not a problem for me.

The quality of the clean a screens surprised me as I expected the flimsier sheets that came with my Garden master.These are much sturdier and easier to handle.I can use them also for finer cut vegetables instead of the fruit roll up sheets I use now,this will cut back on my drying time and I will buy more.Easy to wash.Like them very much. Recommend.

I bought several sets of these, and like them a lot. They have a slightly parabolic shape, which keeps little pieces of produce, such as green peas, from going down through the bigger holes closer to the outside of the tray. The middle of the tree, around the hub, is not raised, so there is a tendency to lose food out through there, especially once the foods dry and you’re trying to empty the tray. That’s definitely a small point of design that could vastly improve the performance of these things. That being said, they’re not nearly as good as the original mesh that came with the machine, that fits exactly the entire contour of the tray. I’ve never lost a morsel of food through that original screen, and would prefer that to these manyfold, but these are not bad in performance. Given the choice, if I could get the originals, I get them every time hands down. But in the absence of those, this is actually doing a pretty fair job. :). And I’ve overcome the problem entirely by leaving the screen In the tray, and lifting the entire tray up and slipping it into a clear foodgrade plastic bag entirely, to empty it. Nothing gets lost unto the work surface that way, and it’s an easy matter of simply pouring the dried produce into its intended Storage container.
