I like it but for that kind of money I would like a choice of ring - the 5 they have are soooo Hyacinth Bucket! Taking the back off the box - as everyone else has pointed out - is quite hard but I got there in the end. There is so little choice for a stylish door bell and I would still say this is the best of the lot.

At almost one hundred pounds this product should be a well constructed quality item. It's not, we have had it five days and still can't remove the back off the bell. The small lip to enable this process is so minute that a screwdriver merely slips out. Too much brute force and we are frightened that it will break. The instructions are useless and so obviously reflect that the item has been made cheaply in China. Shame on Mr Jensen who is obviously keen to scoop design awards by the bucketful, but has no thought for the purchaser being landed with a sub standard item.

Good design, Quality plastic, sounds that do not annoy, no wire installation needed. Well thought product.

I received the bell 18 months ago and it has worked OK but recently it stopped working completely, (I tried new batteries and reset in accordance with the user manual).I requested a replacement and eventually received it today, new unit working OK.The unit has 6 sounds which cam be changed to suit your particular requirements i.e.high or low frequency, quite loud in operation.

The chime unit is well designed and solid. The doorpush unit is difficult to open for access tomthe chime choice, andnthe back plate which screws tonwallmor door is flimsy, thin plastic. The doorpush slots ontonthis thin backplate insecurely, defeating the whole object. The doorpush looks good but is is poorly designed.

For those trying to open the bell push in order to replace the CR2032 batteries - slide the main body of the bell push upwards to release it from the backing plate. It can be a little stiff to do this.
