Handy to have if you have USB 3.0 sockets
Well made little cable adapters. I purchased these as I have a number of standard USB wall sockets which are obviously obsolete to some of the newer USB-C cables. These small adapters have allowed the wall sockets to remain in use without the need for substantially long cables being visible or attempted to be hidden. Very easy to use, and offering great connectivity with no loss in speed or power. Really good value for money and well worth the purchase if you are in a similar position and have “old” USB sockets which you wish to keep using with a view to keeping up high charging speeds for devices etc.

Does what it says on the tin
Does exactly what it says on the tin. My new smart watch has chosen to be rechargeable only via a usb male connector, which is a real pain. But this adaptor cable has solved what would otherwise have been a problem for me.

Auto says “high voltage” device
When plugged into my car’s USB port to charge my iPhone 16 (usb c) it won’t work and flashes “high voltage” device connected. That does not happen with another A to C adapter.

Ammetto l’ho comprato per un mini progetto “ecologico”: ho trovato dopo anni (erano sparite) una ventolina alimentata usb (nello specifico usb e lighting per rinfrescarsi con smartphone) che ho collegato ai pannelli solari portatili, così posso creare flussi d’aria in auto che in estate riduco l’effetto serra, sia in inverno per enfatizzarlo (non so se avrà effetti sull’umidità di notte quando dormo in giro per il rallye. Il cavo si presenta di alta qualità, un po’ rigido, per ora fa il suo lavoro vedremo in futuro, l’ho provato anche per dati e sembra funzionare.
