Learn, get inspired, and improve your design skills with this book. Highly Recommended
I am not a designer myself, but I work in a creative industry so understanding how designs come together, what elements to look at/for, appreciate, and notice is critical to me.Malinic's books, Vols. 1 and 2, have not only been extremely helpful and inspirational in my daily job, but they have also taught me a lot about detail, being open-minded, and being creatively brave. The books are written in such a way that you can read a page a day, get your dose of inspiration, and go about your business, or you can read it all at once if you prefer. The books are well written and enjoyable to read.Highly recommended if you are looking to bring that cutting edge to your profession!

Soul baring sharing!
A fabulous look at the creative process, working with dream clients and a bit of soul baring around mental health and understanding your own boundaries as a creative! Radim approaches his craft with grace, curiousity and accountability, giving an in-depth look into what it takes to find your own happiness and niche in whatever creative direction you choose. You can feel and see a fabulous transformation in humble expertise, maturity and design approach from Book of Ideas 1 to Book of Ideas 2. A wonderful read. Thanks so much for sharing your process, lessons learned and baring your soul in this latest gem!

Essential content for freelance designers
As a freelance motion-designer/animator who perpetually struggles with imposter syndrome and deadline-anxieties, both books in this series served as a really good anchor to help keep me focussed. Particularly through my poorly timed (Covid...) return to freelance life. They’re both chock-full of essential survival tips from Radim Malinic who has himself been ‘through the mill’ a little in his own career, and thus is well placed to share his kindness/wisdom on this front. Additionally, of course both books are jam packed with professional examples of his signature style which were all a great influence on me as an animator. At a glance, you might mistake these books as just really beautiful coffee-table-fare, however it only takes a few minutes of real engagement to realise they can serve as genuinely useful handbooks for all the things ‘they don’t prepare you for’ as a freelance designer of any kind. Fully recommend both books. Thanks Radim!

A feast for the eye & mind
I am a huge admirer of Radim’s amazing work and use his first volume of the Book of Ideas frequently for inspiration. It’s a well-thumbed reference guide in my little library of books on art & design. His new volume is once again a feast for the eyes and mind. Not just his designs are wonderful to look at, there are some little gems of information, valuable tips and great case studies for anyone working in the creative industry. His passion and enthusiasm for his work shines through on every single page. Highly recommended.

A DESIGNERS MINDSET
I love this book, I'm only 15 pages in as I like to read slowly and fully understand what the author is trying to convey and I think it has some great principles.
