Very nice, espeically for the price
I will say, this unit is small. But exceptional if your main use is one panini at a time. It WILL fit a sandwich using two LARGE bread slices. Seems well enough made. The hinge could have a bit more range, but it certainly works. And the removable and drained plates are a great addition, though I'd recommend putting a foil in the drip pan. Its made of... cheap plastic.

Perfect for me
I like toasted sandwiches but I didn’t want a big piece of equipment. This gadget is perfect for me. It’s small but it’s big enough for two sandwiches or four pancakes and many other things. The price was good too. It heats up fast. You do have to keep an eye on it while it’s cooking so the food doesn’t burn. It doesn’t come with waffle plates, although the pictures show them. Maybe they have to be ordered separately. I don’t cook waffles, anyway. It would be nice if it had a heat regulator, but for that you need a more expensive grill.

Cooks well.
I really like the way this "grill" cooks burgers. It does a good job of cooking the patty evenly and completely. It puts an end to the burger spatters all over the kitchen, a rea plus, and the grease collector makes cleanup easy. The removable plates are easy to remove an replace and having different plates makes it very versatile. The plates are aluminum and will leave a dark smudge on your hands after being cleaned in the dishwasher so you might want to hand wash them. All in all, a good purchase.

Actual High Quality Appliance
I've bought and returned or thrown out multiple waffle irons that broke the 2nd time they were used or were so poorly made that I was afraid to use them or that had knobs and switches that fell off or were uncleanable. This one is simple. No switches. No knobs. Plug it in to turn it on. Unplug it to turn it off. Plates attach easily, securely, come off easily and clean simply. Well designed drip tray. I have a feeling I'll be using this for a long time to come. Hard to actually find a well made quality product anymore. This is one.

Works ok but should be lower priced
Seems ok but very small and feels cheap. However so far it cooks well but should cost less.

Broke on the 35th day!!
The bottom latch on my MultiMaker Flex Press Grill System, Grill + Waffle, Removable Plates - Graphite is not working and will not secure my bottom plates. This is NOT one plate but all plates. This is a spontaneous situation and I see no way to correct it. I purchased this on Amazon and immediately registered it with Dash on September 3rd 2025. I am past the 30 day window to simply return it to Amazon. I need a repair or replacement. I am hoping that Dash honors my 2 year warranty that they brag about and I receive a replacement quickly

Great small appliance and love the removable plates!
I have been looking for a small griddle/panini press with removable plates for ages. I was always grossed out I couldn't completely clean plates on a sandwich press. Dash created this and it fits my needs! I have made many hot sandwiches on this - saves a lot of money instead of going out to eat. Super quick for work-from-home lunches. I love how this is small and doesn't take up a lot of space - but large enough for larger pieces of homemade bread. Very easy to clean and wipe off the top and bottom when done. I used it for the first time the other day and made hamburgers and they turned out so good and juicy. I love how I didn't have to flip anything. I might try and grill asparagus on this device tonight.

Adequate power, removable grill plates!
The MultiMaker is a versatile well designed electric mini-grill. It has adequate heat (1000 watts) and applies heat from both sides. The top grill pivots so that it can press sandwiches and other food items of various thicknesses. It heats from both sides. My first few uses shows that it builds up good heat and truly grills whatever you have in there -- in my case sandwiches and some egg plant slices, -- and if not watched, will even burn things. It does not have a temp control and I imagine that means it is on "full" all the time that it is plugged in. For my use, this wasn't a problem, as I wanted it to grill/toast in a short period of time and had no use for anything other than full power. It grilled a relatively thick sandwich in about 4-5 minutes. The big drawback of electric grills is cleaning them as you are faced with potentially exposing sensitive parts to water if you just put it in the sink. The MultiMaker avoids that problem by using removable grill plates that can be cleaned separately and replaced. Honestly, removable plates was a "deal breaker" for me as a unit that cannot be easily cleaned will not be used. Great work by the design team on this one given removable plates seems to b a feature that only shows up on very expensive products. The unit I received came with two substitute plates to make it a flat grill, but I have only used the grill marked plates as that's what I perceive as its best contribution in my kitchen. The only drawback someone might have is that the overall size is relatively small, though still adequate for a full sized sandwich, or even two on square pieces of bread. It fits my needs perfectly. At a price that is lower than most unpowered grill presses, it is a fantastic deal and will have a continuing role in my kitchen. Excellent!
