Mighty Mug (Red)

The media could not be loaded. Ordered it despite some concerns regarding other reviews that it might not work. It came today and I tested out immediately. It stuck to the counter perfectly and didn't fall over when I tried to knock it over. However on my wooden table it didn't stick at all and. And on my dresser (imitation wood) and other table (covered in a wood sealant) it only stuck when I applied force to the top, but once I did that it didn't knock over. My only two concerns are one, the suction cup protection was on the open end of the cup where you drink out of, not the suction cup itself, which makes me worry about the assembly process where it was produced, and if it could affect the mug now or later on. My second concern it, as dear as I'm aware, no where in the description on Amazon does it state as it does in the warranty, "Mighty Mug will grip to any NON-POROUS flat surface (i.e. most desks)." I really feel they should advertise this in the description.

Great design and perfect for my use. I needed a mug which I could use near my computer. I had recently knocked a cup into my computer and ended up having to replace a six-week old computer! My new Mighty Mug solved my problem as I know can keep my mug near my electronic stuff and know it will not tip over. Great mug for a great cup of coffee.

I purchased this mug after watching a demonstration on The Giz Wiz Show on TWIT.TV. This mug is a major disappointment:1. Only < 1/2 of the mug is dishwasher safe. The inner part with handle can go in the dishwasher, and that's it.2. If you put the whole thing in the dishwasher by accident, the rubber base is ruined and it will no longer provide the base suction like before.3. Manufacturer's customer support does not respond, even though I tried to contact them twice via their official web site. I was trying to purchase a replacement base for the mug.4. Mug capacity is very small. Perfect for an older child, not for an adult (especially if you drink a lot of water).5. The lid does not seal completely when closed. The opening is permanent, so if you happen to actually knock the mug over, it will spill.So I suggest you check around for mugs per your mug-design needs before jumping into purchasing this one, which is pretty much useless for me.

The cup is cute great color choices, do not slip off desk; but it is not keeping coffee hot very long. This is one reason I order cup to have coffee kept hot longer than regular cups.

The Mighty Mug does not easily get knocked over. A real plus! BUT, as others have said: "Be careful when you first drink out of it cause the opening for your mouth is XXLarge, and hot coffee can pour out either side on you! Not sure why it was designed this way! Maybe the designer has a very wide mouth!You cannot use it in your vehicle, the base it too wide for a standard holder, and does not sit on the dash unless it is very flat and smooth! I found this out the hard way too!I take it to the coffee shop, and read and use it there. In that situation it works very well -- keeps coffee hot -- does not tip over if you bump it, but don't scald yourself!!

I have arthritic hands and am clumsy with them. This mug won't let me tip it over! Yet it lifts gracefully when you lift straight up with the handle. It has great capacity - 12+ oz, and it saves me time cleaning up "accidents"! It is a reasonable height, like a ceramic mug, not tall and skinny like most travel mugs, so it is less of a "target" when you are reaching across the table or counter for something. Great colors too.Now the only reasons I didn't give it a 5 - first, you have to separate the base and the black cup to wash them, and I needed pliers to do so. Seriously. Second, the base can not go in the dishwasher (the cup can). My husband doesn't remember this. Last but not a big deal for me as I have others - it is not a travel mug. The base won't fit in the cupholders in the car.But again, it is otherwise exactly what I was looking for, so that I don't have to clean up a mess when I'm in a hurry to get to work! This is great for anyone who, for whatever reason, tends to tip over their cup!

This works great. When you 1st get it, it's a little hard to suction. But as time goes on and it gets "broke in" it works better and better. I dropped the one I had before and broke the handle. I bought 2 of these this time. This is the only coffee cup I use.

Read the instructions before use. Remove the hard plastic cover on the base then flip and flick the rubber to make it stick. There are also important washing instructions. This cup stuck to some surfaces out of the box but after a few hours of use refuses to stick to anything. I'm not happy. I decided to put it in the trash. It just won't stick even to a smooth granite surface. I saw this advertised on 'I Want That' but it doesn't work as it should.
