Although I recommend doing it over a wide opening garbage can. The suction is very good and the light is so bright and helpful. I’ve been using it almost every day. It comes with a wall mount but I just lean it up against the wall and placed a command hook to drape the cord over. I keep it plugged in when I’m not using it so it always stays charged. This cordless vacuum replaces my broom and dustpan so I don’t have to keep bending over which is saving my back. However, it doesn’t quite have the power to replace a good cord vacuum. My mother has a Shark cordless vacuum and it’s much more powerful. Hers works really well on carpet.
