Works great
I was surprised how this works, and it fit my circular save and miter saw.

Works on Makita LS1013 with small adjustment
Needed to file the Makita LS1013 blade guard center plate (MK-343639-9) just a smidge (<1/32") to allow for smooth guard movement. I also removed the product label. Works great!

Not worth the money
Used it to cut two 2x4s then it went completely dull could barely see it. Changed out the batteries and still very dull. Don’t waste your money

Worked when installed on saw!
Instructions said to spin by hand prior to installation, to test light, and to contact seller if it didn't work. I did, and it didn't work, messaged seller, no response. Did same thing next day, no response. On the third day I after the hand spinning didn't work I installed it directly on my saw, and DANG, it worked!!

Big upgrade small price!
Just received this yesterday and installed it almost immediately. Took less than 10 minutes to get it up and running, made a few cuts to get the feel of it. The laser produces a line about a 32nd of an inch. Took a minute but I realized my pencil line needs to be on the right side of the laser line to get an accurate cut. I'm sure a shadow line is better but this is definitely an upgrade. And for under $30 and 10 minutes of time I'm very happy with my purchase.

Descent product
It is hard to see the laser in direct sunlight operation. But otherwise it does a good job.

worked as advertised
I had issues with the fit, but Jack worked with me and is sending a shim to fix the problem. Great company to work with. Install was very easy.

Wish I had not bought this.
Pretty sure this thing is causing my motor to over spin due to weight. Its also not that bright.
