Fantastic Trilogy Conclusion
Congrats to @maicorland for this fantastic trilogy! Book 3 was published on Tuesday, July 15, and I started it immediately. Our group of intrepid liars has been split up and suffered losses, but they keep coming back, trying to fight against all the evil rulers. The found family vibes are so strong in this group, and I found myself wishing the best for them against impossible odds. Without spoiling the series, I will say that there are really sad moments in all three books but there is still a sense of hope at the end. I loved this trilogy.

I highly recommend it!
4.5⭐️Three Shattered Souls by Mai Coland(The Broken Blades trilogy – Book 3)This book was one of my most anticipated reads of the year. I loved Five Broken Blades and Four Ruined Realms, and I’m so happy to say it delivered! The story started strong with a solid plot, great pacing, and a beautifully built world that pulled me in from the very first chapter of Five Broken Blades.Royo, Aeri, Sora, Mikail, and Tiyung have my heart. Each of them brings something special to the story. Their bond as a found family felt so genuine. They cared for each other so deeply, even as lies and secrets constantly threatened to pull them apart. You feel the strength of their connection through every challenge, betrayal, and moment of loyalty. The middle of the book slowed down a little, but it made sense with everything they were going through. And then—wow—the final stretch was an emotional rollercoaster. I felt everything: their pain, heartache, love, grief, and hope. The ending was beautiful and painful. It broke me in the best way. I still have questions, and some things were left open in a way, making me ache to know more about their futures. I understand why the author chose this direction, but ouch, my heart. Also, the audiobook was phenomenal and made the experience even more immersive. This trilogy has officially earned a spot on my list of top favorites. I highly recommend it!

Excellent Trilogy
A very VERY interesting trilogy with an Asian tinge. No surprise as the author is Korean.Five Broken Blades, Four Ruined Realms and the final Three Shattered Souls comprise a complex story of redemptionwith surprises! Not to give anything away here but, If you like Epic Fantasy or just a plain old good story, you will love this trilogy. Others agree as evident of it being a bestseller too.So read and enjoy!!!

SUCH a great finish!
What a great way to end the trilogy, or is it? I cried, which means I deeply cared for the characters, which means their development and stories were superb. Can’t wait to see what Mai Corland does next!

Great ending
I had the privilege to read this book as an ARC. Thank you Mai Corland and Entangled Publishing!4 StarsI really loved this final book and especially how it ended—it honestly surprised me in the best way, which was great after I didn’t really connect with the second book. Overall, though, this series has been a fantastic ride. What stood out most to me was how unpredictable the story was. I was constantly guessing what would happen next, and I love it when a book can keep me on my toes like that. The action was solid, the twists were well done, and a few of the characters went through some great growth, which made the story even more enjoyable. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish I could have connected more deeply with the characters emotionally. I felt like I didn’t get quite enough time with some of them to really feel their personal stakes. That said, this was still a super satisfying conclusion to the series, and I’m really glad I stuck with it!So if you are looking for a thrilling fantasy romance filled with action, plot twists, and a little bit of romance, this is your next read.

Three Shattered Souls
Book 3 starts after the events of book 2. While the characters were constantly moving throughout the realms, not much seemed to really happen until the last 20% of this book. I kind of got lost in the whiplash of being one place, then another, then back. I lost some of the connection to the characters I had after book 2. I still enjoyed the multi POVs, but a lot of the internal monologue became repetitive. I was satisfied by the ending, and now I’m curious if Mai Corland plans to write a spin off series. Book 2 will remain my favorite in the trilogy.
