I have another positioning pad similar to this, but the one I already have is a bit bigger/heavier duty and the material feels sort of like thick canvas. This one is a little lighter and more "crunchy" for lack of a better term, but the nylon material of this one feels more waterproof than the more canvas-like one. Even though this one is lighter, it feels sturdy, the handles are easy to grab and don't feel flimsy.

The first thing I noticed out of the package was that the handles were stitched with a heavy duty weave. This pad is supposed to support 500# and the stitching looks like it could handle that. The material is smooth and soft nylon with sewing making little block sizes. This was great for use by my mother in law who had continence issues and wanted to be sure any messes did not get on the mattress. It worked great.Price is high but I would figure that a commercial senior home would buying these for their longevity.

This is a very useful repositioning transfer sheet for elderly care. It is very well cushioned that is soft and supportive. It is very comfortable to lie on it whether you need to transfer the patient now or do that later. The reinforced handles are very tough and very convenient to use to turn the whole sheet. Th patient can rest on it. It is also waterproof and washable to ensure it is clean all the time. The color is also very beautiful and feels clean. When not in. Use, you can put it in the included storage bag.

This transfer bed pad is nice in size and comes in a nice solid bold blue; with reinforced thick handles on each side and few layers of material. this transfer pad helps wonders. Its slick material makes it easy to pull, turn and position people with limited or no mobility. It is noisy and not the most comfortable so I’d suggest placing a throw blanket or such over it before placing someone if you like it to stay under them at your convenience. Very easy and simple to use with less strain on you and the patient
