Provides a great sound for the Taco when the turbo opens but not overly loud. Otherwise quiet and not noticeable. No appreciable change in mileage though. I imagine it breathes better; tacos are famous for horrible mileage. Had to review the videos step by step to ensure a good fit. Did get a code a few thousand miles later but was a slightly loose fitting. Easy fix.

The kit looks great. Install was easy. DO NOT put this on an i-ForceMax engine. Immediate problems. Sets CEL off and phones the dealer about the CEL. After the fact I understand that this does work on the non-hybrid platform just fine. K&N should put a disclaimer on their site, the product, and warn their resellers.

I am a big fan of K&N filters and CAI. This is the first cold air intake that I have had to set off multiple codes on one of my vehicles. The plastic air tube appeared to be poorly made with pen holes in the seams. I had no choice but to remove it and return it. I hope the quality of this CAI is not how K&N is going to be in the future.

Love the intake on my 2025 Toyota 4runner limited Everything fits fairly well I only have two complaints and it’s the problem k&n has with all their filters (probably my 6th one installing on various vehicles) 1) the hoses they provide never fit the connection well. It’s always barely too tight. 2) the filter enclosure box has 3 mounting points to secure it over wheel well. The holes barely make it over to where they need to be so it’s easy to strip the bolts. Elongate or make bigger. Otherwise sounds amazing

Terrible!!! Just threw codes on my brand new 25 Tacoma. Product caused engine light that was due to crankcase ventilation system issues. I had to remove this product from my truck and thank god I had the original intake to put back in before my truck started to have engine failure and it not being covered under warranty. Don’t buy unless you want codes on your brand new vehicle!!!!

Missing some bolts. The bottom mounting holes don't line up had to drill new holes. One thing i don't like about the design is the top has a filter that to me lets in hot air. If you are not mechanically inclined I would recommend it. Sounds great.

Venía incompleto, ya con el carro desarmado, siguiendo las instrucciones llegué a donde se instala el sensor de aire, falta el adaptador y otras cosas, tuve que volver a armar todo como estaba
