It is super easy to set the cam adjustments on these! This was the first time I ever replaced a valve actuator myself, and it was easy, so I saved having to pay an serviceman to come out.

Central clear shaft broke after 7 days. All parts lubed and waterproofed with silicone grease including jandy valve prior to installation. No resistance at valve, easy to turn. Hayward Oncom called for spa to turn on... valve breaks...2nd valve turns normally, All water is pumped out of spa because return is in wrong position (broken actuator) and pump runs dry for 30 minutes while spa is supposed to be heating up. Pump is $2k and was brand new (ok 2 weeks old). My pool guy said, buy the generic one, it's the same as name brand... save money. How much is your pump worth? Central clear shaft just cracked apart. I'm not even going to try to get them to buy me another new pump. The pump needs a rebuild. Just be aware there is a problem with these units. The clear central shaft is garbage. Amazon did accept the return of the broken unit, that's a plus. Ordered an Intermatic in the new style, pe24gva from Amazon as a replacement. More money, but a solid company, so not expecting a repeat, and not priced like Hayward and Jandy. Most of the valves look the same. I suspect they all come from the same factory with different stickers and some with a different central shaft color / material. The new Intermatic looks different. I expect Intermatic quality. Wish me luck.

This pool valve actuator is a fantastic and simple to install product. It is a perfect fit for my Pentair OEM valve that failed. The valve came set to 180 degrees so i didn't have to fool around with resetting the cams. The installation took 15 minutes! Now my hot tub and pool are working perfectly again.

Bought two. Cheap plastic shaft broke on both of them within a month of installation.

This is a knockoff of the original TORK model TPE24VA that I use with many of my projects on pools. They are using the same part number and a very similar logo to confuse customers into buying their model instead of the TORK model. TORK is a reliable brand and company located in the US. Avoid this product unless you want failures and headaches.

Cheap no brand name knockoff product with no UL safety agency. Buyer Beware!

I've never installed one of these before and it was not too difficult.
