Veil Volume 2: Calming Noir

Absolutely perfect

cute, been following this manga 2 years before it got translated and released in english. however, it was hard to understand because of the fan translations. these translations seem pretty good so far, but some part of me feels like, as a story, the first volume was a bit better. in this one, it feels like their relationship advances a little, they seem more intimate and loving, but it didnt make as big of an impact as volume 1 did for me. still looking forward to the next volumes.for people who know nothing about this series, its a subtle romance between a blind woman and a policeman. its not explicit, the artist chooses to tell this story through visuals and flowery language and shorts. there isn't an overall plot per se, just a series of moments they go through in parts of their lives. the art is very elegant and feels sentimental. story is not extremely deep (if youre looking for that), its kind of just about the connection they have

I liked this book more than the first one, it was more sensual, more tension between the characters, easier to follow. Her and Him, are very cute with their talks, and flirting. I can't wait for the next ones!
