The Best Alternative to Wet Wipes
I simply LOVE this product! I have been looking for an ecological alternative to wet wipes for some time. However, most other alternatives seem to use a foaming action - most of which immediately soaks into the toilet tissue, leaving one with wet, soggy TP to clean with. With these others, one feels cleaner than plain TP, but nowhere near as clean as with a wet wipe. With Satu, however, there are none of these problems. This is like a more solid, concentrated version of alcohol hand gel. It sits ON TOP of the tissue - without soaking in - and leaves one feeling as clean as with a wet wipe, only with the knowledge that one is doing their part for the environment (and our sewage systems). I like this product so much, in fact, that I wish the maker would put out a smaller, purse-size bottle that I can carry with me, and so get that clean feeling wherever I might be.

An improvement over foam (and sprays).
This product has an advantage over foam (and sprays) that I like very much......it doesn't soak the paper before use. I've used foam for a few years and been satisfied overall in it's ease of use and how well it worked. Sprays were less usable and effective for me - too wet, little cleaning ability and doesn't help shield sensitive areas. But this gel is easy to use, not wet like sprays and foam, and it has a lubricating quality that reduces irritation during use. A winner all around as far as I'm concerned. I haven't tried any of the lotion based products because of their greater expense but I have a feeling that they are superior to sprays and foams as well for the same reasons as the gel product....just more expensive. So overall, price and quality considered, I will be switching to this gel product.

Five Stars for Product
Have used this product for a few years and think it’s great. It seems pricey, but a little goes a loooong way. It’s soothing, no scent, does the job and doesn’t overmoisten the paper. My gripe is with the condition of the container on arrival. The cap was loose, there was dirty, gummy product under the cap and the gel inside the container was low in the bottle and discolored, (this product is clear like aloe vera gel.) Amazon package was undamaged so suspect it’s a vendor problem.

Good stuff
I started using this when I learned that the moist wipes I’d been using were bad for the environment. I also tested a foam that you spray onto the toilet paper, and SATU gel was better. It leaves me feeling fresher than the moist wipesAn issue I encountered at first that didn’t turn out to be serious long-term: For my first order of SATU gel I ordered 2 bottles, one to keep at home and one to put in my daypack. The padded envelope had torn open, and the clear plastic dome was missing from one bottle, so that became the at-home bottle. I placed another order for 2 bottles a few weeks later. This time the package was intact, but the dome was missing. Since I had the dome from the previous order, this wasn’t a serious problem. I discovered at some point that you can lock the pump by turning the nozzle clockwise. So the missing dome wasn’t a big deal after all, but it was frustrating at first. On my most recent order (arrived yesterday), the pump simply wouldn’t work. I could pump it, but no gel came out. I put the pump from the previous bottle on the new bottle, and all was well. Since I’ve bought at least a dozen bottles of SATU gel, this isn’t a bad batting average. But my advice would be: Order one more bottle than you think you’ll need, just in case. The product is basically very good, and if not for the problems, I would have given it 5 stars.

Better than sprays, this doesn’t disintegrate TP
This works the best… I wasn’t sure if gel or a spray was gonna be better but I got to test both...Gel from this company & spray from another. The gel is thick enough to do exactly what it needs to do but not sticky nor watery… It does not disintegrate the toilet paper… The spray that I tried had a nice smell but disintegrated the toilet paper with just one to two sprays so it couldn’t get the dirty job done…This gel has no scent. Otherwise, it would be perfect perfect… right now I’d rate it perfect for ease of use pump, gel thickness, & most importantly getting the job done! Clean butts are the best! Haha...

Works well, liked it better than sprays
I've only tried 2 of this type product, the other was a spray. I like this one much better. I guess in a way it's basically just lube, or like the consistency of hand sanitizer gel, with antibacterials and such. Not much else to say, it's easy to dispense and use, but if I recall whatever price I had paid for it, as a regular ongoing purchase in life, I do think it should be a little more inexpensive. I haven't gotten through the bottle and it's probably been over a month, so not sure yet on the full life expectancy of the product, but if I'm being honest that probably means the cost isn't that big a deal over time.

READ THE INGREDIENTS!
Read the ingredients!!I am shook by the ingredient list for this product. Aqua, Alcohol, PEG-40, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Propylene Glycol, Allantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Carbomer. Ethylhexylglycerin, Triethanolamine, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben.First of all, parabens release formaldehyde and are rarely used in the personal care industry anymore. Alcohol is also pretty aggressive to apply to your nether regions so frequently. It will dry out your skin and make it more fragile. Plus, it will kill all your healthy flora. Triethanolamine contains diethanolamine which is also on the California Prop 65 list. This product should have a warning:THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS CHEMICALS KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CAUSE REPRODUCTIVE HARM AND CANCER.I wouldn’t be so bothered but this product is being applied repeatedly to very sensitive areas (mucous membranes) which are known to absorb chemicals rapidly into the bloodstream. That’s why they deliver drugs through suppositories, people. Be careful what you put on your bum!!!!
