Great Purchase!
This bench has worked out perfectly for what I purchased it for. It is easy to assembly, very sturdy, and works well with the P90x and Body Beast workouts I use it with. I store it in a small office and roll it into my workout area when I am ready to use it. It has wheels on one end and a handle on then other making it quite easy to move. The adjustments are very easy to make as far as flat, incline, decline, and 90 degrees. The seat has a true flat position but also pivots, which I like better than the other utility bench I tried. The only issue I have had is it slides around some when I am using it because my workout area has oak hardwood flooring. I am going to put some thin rubber on the feet of the bench where it contacts the flooring to prevent this . For now I simply put a thin layer of masking tape on the feet to stop the sliding. Not sure about the maximum weight limit but it is very solid feeling with myself (180 lbs) and my dumbbells (103 lbs total) while working out. So far, I highly recommend this product and I will update my review as time progresses to detail how well this bench holds up! UPDATE: 05/20/15 This bench continues to hold up well and I am still using it! Still looks new and I am happy with it!

One Really Quality Bench! Real Bargain!
One of the problems with buying anything online is that the "touchy-feely" and tire kicking aspects of selection are just not there. When I went shopping for an incline bench, I naturally tended towards a Marcy because I've used their small, flat bench ( https://www.amazon.com/Marcy-Utility-Training-Exercises-SB-315/dp/B00G44X9D6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1513379171&sr=8-4&keywords=marcy+utility+bench) for two years and done all kinds of dumbbell exercises on it - it tolerated my 6'3" 210 lb (250 lb to start) body just fine and still feels solid, Still, I wondered if Marcy made their other benches the same way. I just received my Adjustable Utility Bench today and put it together. I could not possibly be more pleased. Its made of heavy gauge steel and once assembled, it is rock solid. All adjustments work very smoothly and the seat & back stay where you put 'em. All parts were present and the small stuff is sealed in plastic and labeled on a piece of cardboard. I checked the welds out carefully and, while some were prettier than others, all were intact. Putting this bench together will not be the easiest assembly job you've ever done because of the weight of the heavy steel pieces. Also, getting the various pivot points in correctly takes pretty good powers of visualization. The directions are excellent but line drawings and verbal descriptions only go so far. Follow the directions carefully, take your time and re-read steps as needed. In addition to the handful of Allen wrenches provided, you'll need two 5/8" wrenches and one 3/4" wrench - you'll see that they make life easier. And don't do what I did: Try to put the seat on backwards and wonder why the bolts wouldn't go in - DUH! I'll update this review after I've used the bench for a while but I'm sure its going to meet all my needs.

Pretty Good
Pros: As others have mentioned, the bench is very sturdy. Padding is good. Assembly was pretty easy. Comes with an allen wrench but you will need a crescent wrench or socket for some parts. Cons: I can't adjust the seat without using a hammer to knock the pin out (it's spring-loaded so it should slide in and out easily). Not a biggie, will try greasing it. Also, there is a large handle on the diagonal bar that supports the bench. It's fine most of the time but gets in the way when I do incline dumbbell rows (laying face down on the bench with arms/dumbbells hanging down). Wish it could be easily removed, but it is welded on. UPDATE: I was able to break the handle off by pounding on it for a while with a rubber mallet. We're good now. All in all, hard to beat for the price. Recommended unless you plan to do incline dumbbell rows.

Great bench but a challenge to assemble.
This is just what I wanted. I know that there is a total 300 pound weight limit but since I weigh 160 pounds that leaves me with 140 pounds to work with (which is 70 pound dumbbell in each hand). I am a long way from that point. There is no attachment at the bottom which I never used on my previous bench and just got in the way. With that stupid thing out of the way, the bench surface is longer so even in the incline position, my head still rests on the bench (I am 6 feet 1 inch). Some commenters on other benches have complained that the seat cushion and the back cushion are separated. That is the case with this bench as well. Ironically I like that feature! On my previous bench without the gap, when I finished dumbbell bench presses, I would struggle to get off of the bench. With the gap, and my backside in the gap, it somehow makes it easier to sit up. (I push the dumbbells forward for momentum to get off the bench but somehow the gap makes it easier to sit up). It is very easy to adjust the incline. Having said all the good stuff, I would mention that it is difficult to assemble. Not that this is mechanically complex, it is that whoever wrote the instructions was a retard. The parts list said there was 9 washers but only 2 were provided but luckily only 2 were needed. That should have prepared me. There were some instructions that were physically impossible to do. Put this into that (the parts would be next to each other connected by an axle but the parts could never be inserted into each other). Each time you encounter nonsense you should always refer to the picture and hold the parts to see how they fit. There are only so many possible combinations to assemble the parts. When you encounter nonsense, it will be for a single step. Most of it is okay. One thing that happened is that 2 holes would not line up and I could not get a bolt into them. I bought a rat tail file, widened the hole, and it assembled ok. I think the reason the holes did not line up is because they really beefed up a weld and the bracket would not slide all the way down because of big weld. It took longer to assemble than I expected but I am not sure how long it took since I had to go get a file.

This bench checks all the boxes!
You simply cannot beat this bench for the money. It is extremely comfortable and has all of the adjustable heights available for seat and back. What was important for me, and something a lot of people don't think about before purchasing, is that a bench should not be too wide. If so, it limits your ability to get the full range of motion on your exercises when laying down. This one is just right fortunately. It is very sturdy, but not to heavy to haul around and has wheels and a handle too. This actually rivals anything you will see out there for a lot more money. I am super impressed and happy with it. Assembly can take up to an hour unless you're an engineer. Got a little tough with the seat area, but other than that it is not too bad. There are a lot of screws, but don't freak out. It only looks daunting. I expect this bench will last me for many years and I seriously recommend it.

Great bench!
Just got this bench. Package is quite heavy at about 58 ponuds....box is somewhat long so kind of hard to get into compact SUV. The instructions seemed clear enough, all parts fit just as described in the instructions, and ultimately I manged assembly in about 45 minutes. The bench is beefier than expected, is solid (no wobbles), articulated parts seem to move without looseness (Need to read carefully and adjust pivot point saftey nuts to correct tension - overtighten, parts wont move, underthighten - they will wobble), seat bottom and back adjust nicely, all angles seem as needed (Full upright for overhead presses, two incline settings, and flat. The seat bottom and back piece seem solidly padded. Bottom piece is somewhat on the large side but useful, back is just fine, maybe a couple of inches longer that I'd like it for overhead triceps extensions. Cosmetically the bench is very attractive, looks much more like a gym piece than a home setup. This said, I am not training for the Mr Olympia or can bench 400 lbs....just trying to keep in shape and do some light to mederate workouts at home. All in all, for the price paid, adjustability, look, robustness, and stability of this bench, Id say it is a great deal. 5 stars.

Best bench and Best price
This bench is beyond my expectations. It is solid, has all the positions for flat, incline, decline and military press. The bench is very sturdy. I love the adjustable seat. It makes incline presses feel very comfortable. I know there is a lot higher priced benches out there on Amazon that do not even come close to the quality of this one. I am happy I did my research. The only potential problem is when it was shipped, the box was barely together and I worried if I had all the pieces. Luckily everything was there. It is easy to put together. Just don't tighten everything in until you are sure you have it correct, as other reviewers suggested. The instructions are pretty straight forward and I cannot see how this could be hard. Took about 25 min to put together. This bench is very sturdy and I feel comfortable lifting heavy with this bench. Great for dumbbells and olympic bar. Since it is a stand alone bench you would need a rack for an olympic or straight bar.

Great Bench, Terrible Packing.
The bench seems sturdy and I'd rate it a 4/5. The packing however 0/5. First the bench - Poor assembly instructions, but not that big of a deal. The longer pad of the bench seems to move left and right slightly at an incline position, but not unsafe. Checked and bolts were tight. Other than that it seems like a great design and very sturdy bench. Light enough to move around easily. The seat is a bit wide though. When you try to pull up a couple dumbbells from the floor next to your feet and rest them on your thighs it's just a bit awkward due to the width at the tip of the bench. Kind of a nitpick there. The packing is the real issue. You may want to decide before ordering if you can live with heavy scratches and missing bolts/washers/nuts. It's not packaged in a way that will protect the pieces of the bench. I assume they shifted around in the box and got damaged. Heavily. First of all, the nuts and bolts were plastic shrink-wrapped to cardboard. I have a very tough time believing that they sent me a "new" product here. It clearly looked like someone had opened up the nuts and bolts before. The bench itself? Every metal piece was heavily scratched up because it's all packed metal on metal in a plastic bag with no type of foam separating or protecting the metal. Now you have it all opened up on your floor and see missing bolts, missing washers, heavily scratched up metal pieces, and you need to decide if it's worth packing back up and sending back to Amazon. If it were packaged properly or not damaged I would have just given a 4/5 review. Maybe even 5/5 considering the reasonable price. But it's so scratched up that I'd probably look elsewhere. Shame since the bench itself seems very nice.
