These gadgets are PERFECT. It's like MAGSAFE for my PC laptop, but better than MAGSAFE. It has a hinge so there's no more stress on the DC cord for port on the side of my laptop. The magnets hold pretty well; at least as well as MAGSAFE connectors. Sometimes I knock one off accidentally, but it's easy to just plug back in. These things work great. You can leave the USB-C/Thunderbolt part in the laptop permanently and keep the swivel+magnet part on the power adapter cable permanently. These are a serious game-changer.

This is a great adapter if all you want is to charge something. Solid mechanical connection that holds while you move your device but releases smoothly if tugged and does support high power charging.It also works for media, like USB storage, but I recommend against it because the easy disconnect could end up corrupting your media.It does not work for display port / monitor connection. That would have been perfect for me. If I could just use one of these at the office and home and easily switch between the two sites. But the laptop doesn't recognize monitors when connected with this adapter.

I love this device. It keeps dirt out of the charging port which has always been a problem for me. The USB c fits snugly in my phone and doesn't come out when I pull the cord. It just barely sticks out past my phone cover so it doesn't really add any length to the phone.The magnets are strong enough that when I put the ends near each other they snap together, they disconnect easily. But they are strong enough that it will pull the phone if not holding it.The swivel head is nice when I'm laying in bed changing it and scrolling.My only negative comment is that the connecting part is a little wide and got in the way of phone case, (I have a Z fold phone) and I couldn't close the phone the last 1% and it pushed the back of my case out a tiny bit. But just a second or 2 with my Dremel and a sanding bit and I was able to fix the case.

I want to like them but... They don't work very well. Any kind of movement or wieght breaks the connection. The magnetic hold is pretty weak.

This a great, well designed product the perfectly protects a USB-C charging port from being damaged by a cable being yanked out. I am creating illustrations on my iPad for a children's book I wrote. Problem being, my dog kept getting hung up on the cable and yanking it out. I discovered this solution and it works perfectly. The magnet is strong enough to keep the cable in place; however, it will breakaway in the event it is pulled on. It can be easily reattached with no damage to the port on your device. The magnetic connector featured a small blue LED light that shows it is supplying power to the port and a nice swivel design that work; it does not support data transmission.

I'm always concerned with damaging the USB connectors, through either daily plugging and unplugging or bumping the cable. Also, it is a pain to fish around to plug the USB-C plug,for daily charging. Whether it is a smart phone or tablet, this little device solves those problems. Plug the USB once, and you have a swiveling, magnetic self connection. The plug is pretty close to flush on the device and it has saved me on numerous occasions where a jumping dog or other fumble accidently pulls on the charging cord. Instead of dragging the device off the table, the cord just disconnects. It has saved my $800 tablet from several drops. To replug the cord, just bring the two parts close together and the magnet snaps in. It is super convenient, and connection is very reliable, and can swivel. Durability and longevity has yet to be determined, but it is nice that it comes in a package of two. Highly recommended.

Some people are confused, but these are power-only connectors, not for video/etc. The magnet is strong and the swivel works well enough (though only in one axis, it relies on the round magnet rotation for the other degree of freedom).Drawing <180W for my laptop, this gets incredibly hot in a few hours, like unable to hold onto it for more than a few seconds hot. Plugging the same USB-C cable in directly it doesn't even get warm, so the resistance is pretty high for this connection. I wouldn't use it on anything that draws a lot of current.

Works great as a quick disconnect for my laptop as well as an easy connection for my VR headset.Charger speeds are based on your original set up and I haven't noticed any reduction since adding this magnetic port.I was skeptical at first but I'm probably going to buy a bunch more after using them so much recently.
