Sahara Nights

I just had to review this pillow. If you open my closets you will see at least 20 pillows I've purchased over the last two years, all with promises to be the best pillow out there. I have severe shoulder, neck and head pain due to a previous accident and a muscular issue. I've tried memory foam (all densities), down, cooling gel pillows, high end department store pillows, etc. I had a great pillow for years but the manufacturer stopped making it and I have been trying to find a replacement, after 10 years it was time. This is absolutely the best pillow I have ever purchased, even better than the one I was trying to replace. After waking in pain for the last 2 years, I woke up this morning pain free and headache free. I am a side sleeper. Side sleeper pillows are always too high since manufacturers feel the need to put a gusset in them. This makes your head tilt up, causing the spine to be out of alignment. This pillow gently supports your neck and shoulder area while allowing your head to rest comfortably without being smothered in the pillow. I didn't have to rearrange or bunch it up at all. It just automatically fit and within minutes I drifted off to blissful sleep. While it looks like a high loft pillow in the picture it really just conforms to your neck and shoulder area perfectly depending on weight. Your able to breath easily since your head doesn't totally sink into the pillow like memory foam does or cheaper polyester might. Latex just doesn't conform, it stays pretty much the same no matter what you do to it. Also, a lot of memory foam, down and fiber pillows make you perspire all night, this one did not and out of the package had absolutely no weird smell and was ready to use. It says it is machine washable on the label which is a huge plus. Anyway if anyone wants my 1000s of dollars of expensive memory foam/high end pillows let me know because I'll never touch them again. I love, love this pillow and am getting ready to order a bunch more while they are on sale. I want my guests to have them and I never want to run out of them. If your having any kind of pain, the claims they make for this pillow are true, this pillow is fantastic, buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice pillow but wasn't exactly what I was looking for in terms of weight. I have been so spoiled while staying at a popular timeshare resort which has the absolutely best pillows for resting and I thought my search was over and I had found the one, but I was wrong. This pillow is a strong second place though. The seller was kind enough to send a refund without any problems at all. I will definitely find something else to buy from Sobel Westex.

If the title of my review describes you, then this king-size Sahara Nights pillow by Westex Sobel might be just the pillow for you. I bought a pair of these several years ago after first experiencing them at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. I was so happy with the pillows that I sent a couple to friends, certain that they would be in love with them just like I was, and they actually were. A few years later I wanted to buy another set and I found out that they were no longer being manufactured locally and they had established a branch for consumers rather than Hotel customers. When I went to their new site to order a new set of pillows though I found out that I no longer could afford them because the shipping was more than the pillows themselves. A couple more years pass, and I decided that my son needed new pillows. I also decided that I was going to try again to replace the original pair that I had bought for myself only this time I would get standard size. I was thinking that would make it more affordable. I was delighted to find them on Amazon where the shipping was affordable aka fast and free. So I purchased four pillows. I was so disappointed, I have to say. They definitely didn't feel like the Sahara Night pillows that I was used to, and even today there's some confusion because the pillow tags say that they are Sahara Nights but in my order history Amazon shows that they were Sobella so I'm not sure what I actually have, but I didn't like them. They had what felt like a fraction of the support that my original set had! Two of the pillows are still in the original plastic wrapping and the other two have only been used for shams and the occasional guests. This year I needed extra pillows so that I could sleep upright for a couple of nights after a sinus procedure that I had so I gave it a try again. Not wanting to tempt fate, this time I ordered king size as I had before and again was happy to get free shipping on Amazon. I didn't have to wait very long to get the pillows either and I can tell you that I am in bliss!! They are just as comfortable as I remember my original pair being! Due to the confusion with the previous order where my Amazon order shows that I purchased so Bella pillows by westex and yet the pillows themselves have the Sahara Nights label, I personally found that I'm now reluctant to buy or recommend standard size Sahara Night pillows or Sobella of any size. But the king size Sahara nights pillows I'll buy again and again, and recommend for tummy sleepers!

We have used these pillows in the Disney hotels and have loved them, so I ordered one initially, it was fantastic, very plush and comfortable. We are front side and back sleepers. Wanted a second because my husband kept taking mine, but the second one is overstuffed and firm, picture as above. I reached out to the company to request an exchange and was offered a $20 credit instead. I’m happy to pay full price, I just wanted the correct pillow. Update: have been in continued contact with seller, a replacement was sent and it was the model that we loved. They had alternatively offered a full refund. I will add that Customer service is very responsive. Looks like we just got a dud pillow but they made it right.

I bought these after doing research on cruise ship pillows and I must say I love these I’ve been sleeping really good they are soft, slightly bigger than standard pillows and I’ve been trying pillows for years that I don’t like

I was excited to get a pillow like the ones we experienced at Disney resorts , unfortunately the ones I received were too soft and no better than what I can buy at TJ Maxx for $25 for two pillows . I paid $260 for four of these Sobel pillows and not satisfied, I requested a return which was approved , but customer is stuck paying fur shipping back , UPS is telling me it’s $92 to ship these back . That’s a 3rd of the price ! Sobel can you provide a shipping label ?

Nice pillow, definitely not as firm as I thought it would be. My husband enjoys it though!

Before I bought this pillow I didn't want to get out of bed because I always woke up with neck stiffness and pain. After i bought this pillow, I still don't want to get out of bed because this pillow has solved my neck pain and has added comfort the likes of which I have NEVER had at home before. For years I have relished the comfort of convention hotel pillows and wished I could have the same perfect and pain free sleep at home. Then I finally just started searching for tags on pillows. To my surprise, Amazon carries the pillows my favorite hotel uses. Now, I am not the kind of person who drops $60.00 on pillows. I am the kind of person who goes to Big Lots or Home Goods to roll the dice on discount pillows. I've gotten CLOSE to comfort that way, but not quite pay dirt. I have so many pillows of different varieties and firmness. I am here to tell you that I will be purchasing more of these pillows and IMMEDIATELY throwing out every other pillow in my home and in my camp gear! I'll just also be purchasing good pillow protectors so these expensive pillows last a good long time. If you also frequent hotels and find yourself getting better sleep on hotel pillows, I HIGHLY suggest you look for the tags. Those hotel pillows just might be THESE pillows. And then I suggest you buy these pillows. Stop torturing yourself with a lesser pillow because of cost.
