Fantastic alternative to using filter paper with the Aeropress
As with many, I wanted a solution to the filter paper issue. I was slightly bewildered by the choice available: some options were possibly too cheap, some options possibly too expensive, I wanted something in the middle. Anyway, without a massive amount of conviction I went for this option. It's turned out absolutely fine: it's actually been a great choice.I make coffee using my Aeropress using the inverted method. The filter/filter cap are easy to screw into place after filling the Aeropress with water, no problems there. The amount of pressure required during the plunging process isn't as great as when using filter papers, however, there's also no sediment left in the coffee cup after drinking so this filter just let's the brewed coffee pass without any grit.Does the coffee taste any different to using filter papers? I honestly don't know (I caught COVID-19 back in March while in hospital and I'm aware that my taste buds have altered a little so probably not the best person to ask).

Saves money on paper filters, and the coffee tastes good.
Bought this for my aeropress as I wanted to cut down on paper filter use.The coffee tastes good... no metallic taste at all, if anything it tastes better as more of the oil gets through than youd get with a paper filter.Doesnt let any of the grind through, even on a fine grind. Definitely a good purchase.
