Works with the Sony A7IV
I was told that the Sony A7IV had issues with non Sony flash units but for the price, I had to try it. This sync has all the features you need in a compact unit. It is efficient, easy to use, and works perfectly with the A7IV.

This trigger gets job done
Ordered second trigger, because the first one broke at the base of the hot shoe mount. It works really well with Godox / Flashpoint lights, somewhat easy to operate. The trigger can be used with one or multiple lights, and has HSS feature. Takes 2 AA batteries.

Nice trigger
Nice trigger, loses connection every now and then but nothing that a quick on and off can't fix.

With the XPro-S trigger/transmitter I can easily use the modeling light function on the AD-200
I ordered the Godox XPro-S transmitter to see if it would work with my Neewer NW880S speed light, and it worked flawlessly with my Sony A7 III both in the ITTL and manual modes (once I made a menu change to allow wireless trigger usage.) Then I ordered the Godox AD-200 Pocket Flash, and they all work seamlessly with one another. With the XPro-S trigger/transmitter I can easily use the modeling light function on the AD-200, and can easily switch to high-shutter speed sync. I have had other triggers in the past, but by far this is the easiest that I have ever used. I have used the trigger/transmitter to take photos at a wedding, still life set-ups, and a portrait. I am very happy with this purchase.

A must buy
This controller is a big step up from the previous generation and well worth the extra coin. The old versions interface was cryptic at best, this UI is a breeze to navigate. You do sacrifice a hot shoe pass through but frankly since you’re inherently controlling flashes off camera with this device I just don’t see a reason you would also have a flash on camera as that kind of defeats the purpose of off camera flash.

The great thing about the Godox system is that with one ...
The great thing about the Godox system is that with one set of strobes, one can use different triggers with the same set. So I can shoot with a Canon or Sony (or other makes of camera) simply using the appropriate trigger. This Sony XPro-S provides all the same flash controls as my XPro-C for my Canon cameras without doing a thing to my strobe setup.

Extreme Signal Lose
This new trigger was used with brand new "on brand" batteries with the Godox AD600BM (also brand new). I had two of those strobes, same channel with different respective group letters. With GODOX branded Light modifiers attached (also brand new). One was a 120cm octa box and the other was a Largo Long throw reflector. The above image is the exact set the were setup in and, and relatively where I was (the shooter) in relation to the strobes. The strobes would continuously either miss fire (out of sync) or not trigger the strobe AT ALL. the strobes had all multiple fully charged battery's, there were nowhere near having had any usage at all, there for no overheating. The issue was so prevalent that multiple great shots were missed, and the shoot had to be rescheduled. Mind the shoot was in the open air (outside) with ZERO restrictions in site. I now either need a replacement of all 3 strobes or a replaced trigger.

Does its job well, no issues. Haven't used with multiple flashes but works great with one so far.
